Reflection #3

Leadership: Theories, Practice, and Development (LM 600)

Master of Arts in Leadership and Management (MALM)

Ethiopian Graduate School of Theology

While discussing on skill approach of leadership, though all three, Technical, Human and Conceptual

skills are required, human skill is considered as the most important skill in all levels of management.

But from My understanding, one should develop the conceptual skill if he wants to go up on the

leadership ladder to the top level. Jesus could show the kingdom of heaven from a parable of Mustard

seed. So, I learned that I should work on how I can work on any Idea from what I have and connect it to

solve any problem beside the perspective taking skill.

Hmm! The ideas you mentioned are great in themselves. However, they are disconnected among

themselves. It would be appreciated to maintain focus and be specific for both theoretical and practical

purposes.
