    YOUNG LEADERS EDUCATIONAL DIALOGUE (You LEAD) SESSION

    Once I graduated, I always think of being successful and wants to be a boss of the
    company, however after attending the seminar I have realized that boss is different from being a
    leader. Being a leader is more better than a boss since a leader is someone who earns respect
    from its people, it inspires people to do better, it helps its people to develop their skills, they
    listen to the opinions of other people, they understand the needs of others and they takes
    responsibility rather than the boss who only commands and uses its employees, in short they are
    very authoritative. With those being said, I want to become a leader of where I am working soon.
    It inspires me to push and challenge myself to become the better version of myself because if I
    will stay in my comfort zone I will not gain something to improve my skills that a leader must
    possessed. A leader must be an effective communicator for them to know and understand their
    subordinates and people because it takes time to build trust and relationship for them to
    communicate with you. From what I observed from myself, I have never been a good
    communicator because I am shy to talk to other people that is why I am trying my best in school
    to start communicating to other people especially in group work where teamwork and leadership
    is very vital. In our university, they are already teaching us to be a good leader and a good
    communicator. We have a free course in each subject that allows us to meet new people, to
    communicate with them and to build relationship with because every people is different and
    unique. A good leader must possess honesty, being effort, good attitude, respect, and trust. With
    the core values that we must have in our university, it starting to assist us to be a good leader in
    the future since it is also connected to what traits must a leader have. All we have to do to apply
    the core values is that we must engraved it in our heart and keep it in our mind when we are
    doing it.
