Nowadays people have been producing plenty of plastic waste for example bags,
bottles, and packing in their daily life. While this causes serious problems for the
environment, there do seem to be some solutions if both governments and individuals
are willing to take some actions.

There are various kind of troubles cause by the plastic waste human create every day.
Firstly, citizens need to pay extra money or tax to deal with the garbage disposal for
those plastic waste even most of them are unnecessary. Second, some people often
dispose their plastic waste everywhere, which destroy the appearance of cities. Finally,
if the plastic waste has been dropped with abandon, for instance in the river, some of
the creature would misidentify it as their food and finally suffocated because they have
just swallowed the plastic.

In order to prevent these situations, individuals should stand up and make some effort.
People can start from reducing the unnecessary usage of plastic in daily life. For
example, we can use recyclable food bags to pack our dinner instead of using plastic
bags. For the government, they can introduce legislation to limit the plastic usage of
stores or company, e.g., forcing drink stores to provide straws made of paper rather
than plastics or forbidding restaurants to provide plastic bags to customers.

To sum up, over usage of plastic in modern society can leads to severe damage to the
environment. However, there are many steps for both the government and individuals
can take in order to solve this problem.
