Republic of Moldova

Preschool education is the first step of the education and training
system. It represents a system of preschool and preschool
institutions of various types, state and private, with different
operating programs, which correspond to educational standards.
Preschool education has as its main purpose the multilateral
preparation of the child for life, with a view to integration in the
school activity, the development of creative capacities by
capitalizing on his psychophysiological and intellectual potential.
The education system in Moldova consists of preschool, primary,
secondary and higher education. Preschool education is for children
up to the age of seven.
Preschool education from the age of 3 to 6 (7) years is organized in
preschool institutions of various types and forms of ownership or in
kindergarten-primary school, with different activity programs,
depending on the child's degree of development and the options
parents.
Preschool education in the Republic of Moldova is
carried out in kindergarten, based on the curriculum,
age standards and other didactic means.
Early education is an approach aimed at the child and its integrated
development, but also the development of parental and institutional
skills in order to respond as adequately as possible to the child's
individual needs.
Preschool institutions can be of the following types:
- nursery-kindergarten (main type);
- kindergarten.
2. Preschool education can also be carried out in the respective
groups of the institution mixed Kindergarten - primary school,
in Community Centers.
3. Homes are organized for orphans and those left without
parental guardianship children or preschool groups that
operate both in boarding schools and in homes for children.
Their status is established according to this Regulation, as well
as the regulations of the respective institutions.
Conclusion
The preschool education in the Republic of Moldova has a
high level but not very well performed. A high level requires
a lot of work, persistence and desire, but some preschool
institutions have a very current and well-developed level of
development, equipment and teaching aids of the latest
generation.
