Austria: Terrorist attack in Vienna.

The police reported 3 dead and 15

seriously wounded. The attacker left a message

Four people died and several were wounded in a terrorist attack in the center of
Vienna. The shooting took place in one of the central squares of the city. The
policemen killed the attacker and searched his apartment. Among the 17
wounded there is a policeman.

As a result of the shooting that took place on Monday evening in the center of Vienna,
one person died, three more died in the hospital. Seventeen people were injured," said
a spokesman for the Austrian Ministry of Internal Affairs. According to the Vienna
police on Tuesday morning, one of the attackers was shot on the spot. The search for
the remaining perpetrators is ongoing.
The killed were two men and two women - random people who were encountered by
the bomber. According to the BBC, seven of the 17 wounded are in serious condition.

Gunman
The attacker was identified as an ISIS supporter who had served time in prison after
being convicted of trying to travel to Syria to fight for the terror group.
Fejzulai Kujtim, a dual citizen of Austria and North Macedonia, was sentenced to 22
months in jail in April 2019, but was freed in December. He was eligible for
conditional release due to his age.

Police advice
The police warned on Twitter that people should stay away from the center and not
leave their homes. They also called for not to publish photos and videos from the
attack site. A manhunt for potential perpetrators of the attack is being conducted all the
time.
