Decentriq is an enterprise SaaS platform providing data clean rooms - allowing users to

data's privacy because of Decentriq's underlying encryption-in-use technology. They are

Confidential Computing is an emerging approach that enables encrypted data to be

processed while lowering the risk of exposure to related systems. It’s a paradigm shift for
data security in the cloud and offers the potential to remove the remaining barrier to the
adoption of cloud-based technology for highly regulated businesses.

You will collaborate with a team of 10 developers with cryptography and low-level system
design backgrounds. All are reporting to Stefan Deml (CTO). You will be working with
technologies such as:

● TypeScript, GraphQL, Python, Rust; nix/NixOS, gRPC, Nomad, Docker

Decentriq’s back-end services are currently written in TypeScript using Node.js, but the
intent is to transition to the Rust ecosystem over time. Stefan is looking for someone who
can take ownership of the web front (with TypeScript as the main driver) and later provide
technical leadership to a small team of three other front-end engineers. The role will allow
you to work closely with experienced Rust Engineers and learn the language on the job.

Our platform UI serves as a critical component of Decentriq's user experience. Contribute

to growing our existing platform using React.js, GraphQL, Apollo, PostGraphile/Postgres.
We are looking for a senior software engineer (>=80%, starting as soon as possible) to join
our mission. The work location can be fully remote (+/- 4h CET) or the Zurich/Berlin
office.

Tasks

● Design, develop, and test full-featured client-side applications using React and
GraphQL.
● Collaborate with a cross-functional team, including design, product management,
and other engineering teams
 Requirements

● Master/Bachelor Degree or PhD in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering and

2+ years of professional experience
● Good communications skills with fluency in English
● Extensive experience in Typescript, React, CSS3, and HTML5
● Passion for usability and user experience
● Plus: GraphQL and Apollo experience
● Plus: Technical leadership experience
