SENTENCES
• Simple Present Tense.
- The habitat of gallito de las rocas is known as yunga.
- It lives in the cloud forests of the Amazonas around rivers. Gallito de las rocas lives in fruit
trees.
- Females build nests in caves.
- Gallito de las rocas is a polygamous bird that changes partners in each reproductive cycle.

- Gallito de las rocas was declared as the national bird of Peru on December 11, 1941 ; due
to its impressive color of feathers and its lifestyle.
