PICKLING MIX-VEGETABLES

(Sayote, Ampalaya, Sitaw, & Carrots)

INGREDIENTS:

1pc. Carrots
1pc. Sayote 1pc. Ampalaya
4-5pcs. Sitaw 1pc. Onion
2 cups Vinegar 1 cup Sugar(brown)
½ cup Water
1tsp. Peppercorn
1pc. Bell Pepper
2 Cups Vinegar
A pinch of salt
A pinch of peppercorn
A pinch of ground pepper
PROCEDURE:
STEP1: Wash the vegetables and cut them into thin strips (1 inch in width) then set aside.
STEP2: Chopped the onions, then after the garlic, next cut the ginger next cut the bell
peppers into strips.
FOR THE SOLUTION:
On medium heat pour two cups of vinegar, one cup sugar and ½ cup of water, stir
continuously until sugar is dissolved after the sugar is dissolved add a pinch of salt.
After the solution has start to boil put the onion on the strainer and stir on the solution
without spilling the onion into the solution

FOR THE ARRANGEMENT PROCEDURE:


Put the vegetable strips in the glass of bottle in alternate order (sayote, ampalaya, sitaw,
carrots) by layer until compact and put in the bell pepper in the side gently and put on the
top of the vegetable the ginger and put pepper and ground peppercorn and ground pepper
then pour the solution in the bottle and close the lid tightly

STORAGE LIFE: 4-6 Weeks
