    I am looking to acquire new knowledge in techniques and procedures that are currently carried out
    with gastronomy. For me it is important to grow as a person, meet people and acquire new
    knowledge.

    What is your ultimate goal once you complete the program?

    I have to come back to Ecuador then I would like to start a master degree in pastry , and maybe I
    would like to have my own restaurant.
    What do you hope to learn about American culture while in the US?

    I would like to learn about their music.

    I would like to learn their traditional food

    I want to learn about people and holidays.

    How will you alone handle the stress and anxiety (culture shock) associated with arriving in the US
    and the first few months of your stay in this country (without your family and friends)?

    I lived for a year alone and I can control this type of situation.
