Script If You Are Staying at A Hotel
Script If You Are Staying at A Hotel
Try to
learn as much of the vocabulary as you can.
When you arrive at your hotel you could be asked some questions such as:
Do you have a reservation?
May I have your name, please?
How long will you be staying?
Could I see your passport or ID?
How many guests are with you?
Could you please fill out this form?
Do you need help with your bags?
Do you need a wake-up call?
Is there anything else I can help you with?
If they don’t provide all the information you need at front desk you might ask the following:
Do you have any rooms available? (If you haven’t made your reservation online before getting
there)
Is there another hotel near here that might have vacant rooms?
What is the rate of a single room?
When can I check-in? Or At what time can I check-in?
What is the wifi password or can I can the wifi code?
Can I have an extra key please?
Is breakfast included?
What time is breakfast served?
Where’s the restaurant?
Are there any laundry facilities? Is there a laundromat near the hotel?
Do you have a gym or fitness center? Or Is there a business center in the hotel?
Does the hotel have any facilities for children? Is there a playroom for children in the hotel?
What facilities for the handicapped do you have?
Until when is the swimming pool open?
Does the room have air-conditioning?
Can someone help me with my bags?
Is there an airport shuttle bus? Does the hotel provide a shuttle bus to the airport? Do I need to
reserve a seat on the bus in advance?
What time is check out? What is the hotel's check-out time?
Could we please check-out a little late, at 3pm? By the way usually you can check out and ask
for them to keep your bags until you need to leave, so you could ask: Can I leave my luggage at
the hotel for a couple of hours after I check out?
Are you hungry? In the next class you will learn vocabulary you can use at a restaurant.
