`President Joe Biden

The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW
Washington, DC 20500

Dear President Joe Biden:

Poverty in America has been a long-lasting economic crisis in the world. The effects are drastic not only
on the world's economic stability but the stability and well-being of many people as well. Change is
needed. True change is the hope many citizens have living in poverty due to a broken, damaged system
regarding poverty.

We know that “The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those
who look on and do nothing.” Poverty as well all know it is destroying are world piece by piece because a
lot of people don’t want to make change. I stand here today emotional because of all the events that
have been happening. This makes me feel challenged because poverty has affected human resources
and let our people perform weakly in terms of economic growth. As people continue to suffer from
poverty It make its challenging for them to take part in this change, because it acts as a burden to our
world.

I come to you and ask if you could look deeper into these issues about poverty in our country. The first
step I believe we can take is by educating children the right way and adapting to different learning styles
for kids that have learning disabilities. Second, we can try by ensuring basic healthcare and contributing
new types of payment plans for people that can’t afford certain procedures and expensive things. Third
by changing the setting when we are trying to help the environment programs grow bigger. Last, help
improve nutrition foods by introducing new things that people have never seen before.

As I was reading Poverty in America by Matthew Desmond and how America manufactures poverty by
Margaret talbot they both blew my mind and made me think more outside of the box. This is because
the culture of poverty” has a bigger meaning to it that most people don’t understand yet. The
fundamental right of everyone to be free from anything stands out a lot because we are A free country,
and we need to start acting like it more.

Lastly, thank you for your Consideration President Joe Biden!

Sincerely,

Deonte Ross
