Mr. Anas B. Basheer is General Manager and the Managing Director of Crescent Construction
& Contracting, with over 30 years of experience as a builder. He mirrors the values of the
organisation he heads- professionalism, entrepreneurship and passionate commitment. Under
his leadership, Crescent Construction & Contracting in India overcame multiple challenges and
emerged successful and stronger with a sharper focus on profitable growth.
After starting Crescent Construction & Contracting in 1991, he has succeeded in the pursuit of
the mission to transform the company from a Class C (Stage III) to a Class A (Top Class) of Public
Works Department (PWD) His leadership has seen remarkable increase across all parameters –
market capitalisation, consolidated turnover and business development.
His experience is rich and varied having worked across domains like Hardcore
Constructions, Design & Engineering, Contract Management, Business Development,
Tendering and Property Development. With passion backed by talent, he has steadily raised
the company from the grass root level. Under his watch he has backed several landmarked
turnkey projects in India to successful completion including the National Institute of Speech
& Hearing (NISH) Trivandrum, Hindustan Latex Limited(HLL), Kerala University, Central Public
Works Department (Govt. of India), KPHCC, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) Building
at Veli, Trivandrum. He is felicitated by the State Government of Kerala for the successful
completion of State Disaster Management Authority Complex in record time.
Mr. Anas has led the growth strategy for commercial and residential building and have
been instrumental in bagging numerous work orders. He will be responsible for developing
and managing the engineering operation strategy that is aligned with the business strategy he
develops the cost budget and monitor as well as manage the Payroll function.
He will play vital role in establishing Crescent Arabia Company Ltd. in the Kingdom
of Saudi Arabia and other GCC region. He plays a premium of forging and building enduring
relationship with customers that accordingly to him is one of the key determinants of success
along with utmost diligence and focus in the modern world of enterprise. He is also passionate
about innovation, quality management & safety measures, project management and talent,
particularly in leadership role.
