The pay of the staff on promotion will be fixed up from the date of shouldering of the higher responsibility
by the concerned establishment sections on receipt of higher responsibility. However, the staf concerned
are advised to exercise option for fixation of their pay on promotion within "ONE MONTH" from the date
of issue of this order. Failure to exercise option within the stipulated time due to ignorance or otherwISe
will not be entertained in any circumstances in future, in terms of RBE No-79/2017,
The pay and allowances of the above staff in higher grade should be drawn only from the date of

incumbents shoulder the charges of the higher grade post.

The above promotion to the post of SSE/Mech. is provisional and subject to the outcome of

Contempt Petition (C) No 314/2016 in SLP (C) No. 4831 of 2012 filed in Supreme Court and will not
confer on them any claim/right for seniority over their senior, if any who could not be promoted yet
as

due to obvious reason.

The seniority of the above mentioned staff will be maintained according to the panel vide this

office letter of even No., dated 22.12.2022.
