How to maintain 40ACK & 40 ECC in Tree stracture.

Hi Experts,

I am getting bit confused wit maintenance of the 40ACK & 40 ECC.

Both the features have multiple lines in the feature.

Can anybody please guide me how to maintain them in proper order.

Please check the documentation of these two features.

Fo r 4 0 EC C :

The �rst row of the table that is returned, denotes the employer

classi�cation code, which is two characters wide. The second row is

the employer PAN, which can be a maximum of ten characters wide. The

third row returns the employer TAN, which can be a maximum of ten

characters wide. The fourth row returns the employer GIR number, which

can be a maximum of 20 characters wide. The �fth row returns the

employer PAO code, which has a maximum of 20 characters wide. The sixth

row returns the employer DDO code, which has a maximum of 20 characters

wide. The seventh row returns the employer PAO Registration, which has a

maximum of 7 characters wide. The eigth row returns the employer DDO

Registration, which has a maximum of 10 characters wide. The ninth row

returns the employer TAN Registration Number, which is a maximum of 12

Note: A particular value should not exceed its maximum length, for

example, in case of TAN, the total length should not be more than ten

characters.

Fo r 4 0 AC K :

There are four rows of output, one for each of the four quarters of the year. From the
documentation:

Form 24Q e-File submission acknowledgement receipt number

You must maintain acknowledgement receipt number for all four

quaters of the �nancial year as - <Quater number>/<15 digit

number>, for example, 1/123456789012345

You can keep the GIR No. blank. It isn't used anymore.

Is it going to be like this or it should be as per the �nancial year except 2010 & , i am not able to
understand the other stu�s here.

You have to maintain it to every FY. 1/ 2/ 3/ 4/ means quarter and then maintain challan no

I am bit not clear about the 1st line that is the 2 digit number.

06 in my case which is maintained under IN01.

Please guide.
