The Role of Information Technology on the online learning

success based on self-regulated learning data

Covid pandemic caused adverse impact on human lives. Educational field is also affected
by the pandemic. Limited interaction and lockdown situations disrupted the normal
learning process of students. So, they adapt the strategies to mitigate the impact of
pandemic like implementation of information technology.

In this article researcher explained the role of information technology and self-regulated
learning on the learning behavior of students of Indonesia. As many studies argued that
the lack of physical appearance had a diverse impact on student's learnings. But this study
revealed that the learning process is depend on self-regulated learning (SRL). Which can
be determined with the help of planning, monitoring, controlling and reflection. Online
studies enhanced the learning process when there is high level of SRL and vice versa.

Findings of this study showed that students wanted to own high SRL in general. So,
students learning is not affected by online learnings.

This study emphasized on SRL in Indonesian students. Teachers assessed and helped
their students to increase SRL level for better understandings in online sessions. As this
study is confined to a single school. There is a scop to conduct such study on a greater
level. So, the authorities and policy makers developed more appropriate strategies
accordingly.
