multinational publishing house that currently publishes a
significant range of titles, including Radio Times, BBC Top
Gear, BBC Good Food and a host of others. Immediate
Media was founded in London in 2007 by Hurbert Burda
Media, a privately owned German technology and media
company.

They reach over 87 million people across a range of specialist markets including
Entertainment, Craft, Gardening, Food, Cycling and Science and history. This also makes it
a mass media company.

Located in London, it is owned by CEO Tom Bureau.

Immediate Media is a mass media company as they produce media that reaches a mass
audience, for example, magazines. They are also a cross media company because they
produce more than one type of media; magazines and websites. They are also a multinational
company because they are active in more than 40 countries.
