Competing Products

The magazine Angling Times, published by Bauer Media Group, covers all the news,
catches, and tactics from the UK sport-fishing scene. Anglers Mail is a magazine in
the same genre that Future PLC also owns and that features articles on
contemporary coarse fishing techniques, news catches, and related topics. As a
result of both magazines being about coarse fishing and having a fairly similar
readership, Angling Times and Anglers Mail are magazines that compete with one
another. Customers strive to choose the more intriguing of the two magazines, which
encourages them to want to purchase the magazine and makes the businesses that
own them competitors too.

The magazine ‘Mountain Bike Rider’, published by Future PLC, is a magazine that is
written by mountain bikers for mountain bikers. This magazine is published every 4
weeks with the latest news, reviews, top advice on how to improve your riding as
well as inspiring stories from the UK and abroad. The magazine ‘Mountain Biking
UK’ published by immediate media, is a magazine for anyone who loves mountain
biking, they want to share and bring to the audience the most exciting, interesting
and insane things from mountain biking. They publish magazines every month and
provide the best places to ride. Customers usually read both the magazines and
decide which one is more suitable for them.
