BASIC BIBLICAL TRUTH

SANTOS, ARIELLIE S.P.

BSBA-HRM 1B

REFLECTION PAPER

Based on what I've watched, there are two religions mentioned. Both believe that they consider
the five pillars of Islam and the seven sacraments of Christianity as steps to individual salvation.
For me as a baptized Catholic, it is a way of showing my commitment to the Lord by following
him. However, about the other religion, I respect their beliefs, but I've realized that believing is
the only step in the Bible because the video says that all of those beliefs are the result of
individual salvation. I didn't go to church every Sunday, but I prayed to God every day because I
always believed in his plans. When I believed in him, I felt like it was salvation: believing that
he's real and that you'll obey his commands because when you believe in him, you'll also believe
in the respective beliefs of any religion, and doing those is the result of salvation. Another factor
to consider for salvation is having faith in God and accepting him as your savior from the sins
you have committed. We will be cleansed of our sins, and we will spend eternal life with him,
but still, we don't know what happens after death. All who believe in his death as payment for
their sins are saved and forgiven. As part of believing in him, I develop relationships with other
people who can help or teach me about him, like when I used to attend bible study with our
pastor and her wife from Jesus is Lord, a Christian religion, even if I am and my family is
Roman Catholic. We used to love attending them to develop our knowledge and faith when it
came to God and his word. because they used to ask us about our faith in God and how strong it
was.
