Cockpit Door – Reinforced Door Operation I
• ACTUATING EMERG CALL PUSHBUTTON
STARTS THE CHIME ALARM SEQUENCE
• “ON” INDICATION (UNLOCKED PUSHBUTTON)
STARTS TO FLASH
• IF INHIB PUSHBUTTON IS NOT PRESSED
(WITHIN 30”) THE DOOR WILL UNLOCK
GREEN LED: door is unlocked
RED LED: INHIB was pressed and EMERG CALL is temporarily
inhibited
ON
LOCK: activates and deactivates the electromechanical latch, deactivates an INHIB command,
resets the alarm (buzzer) and EMERG CALL command
INHIB: inhibits, for 500”, the EMERG CALL command and lights up the red led on the pax
cabin control panel
UNLOCKED: turns on when door is unlocked; flashes after an EMERG CALL command; turns
off after an INHIB command
TEST: continually tests the buzzer (while the button is pressed)

switch and prevents the door from opening (inhibition
function failure)
MECHANICAL HANDLE: Permits normal remote
operation. Permits manual override also
