2. ABOUT THE NET ZERO CLOUD ACCREDITED


PROFESSIONAL CREDENTIAL
The Net Zero Cloud Accredited Professional credential is intended for practitioners who
have sustainability knowledge, skills, and experience to plan, design and implement Net
Zero Cloud solutions that drive meaningful ESG outcomes. These practitioners function as
guides who can map customer requirements to Net Zero Cloud functionality that help
customers make a positive impact on sustainability.

The Net Zero Cloud Accredited Professional exam is up to date as of January 16, 2023.

3. AUDIENCE DESCRIPTION
The Net Zero Cloud Accredited Professional exam is a multiple-choice exam intended for
practitioners who have knowledge, skills, and experience implementing Net Zero Cloud.
This credential validates that a Net Zero Cloud practitioner can drive positive sustainability
outcomes with customers using the features and capabilities of Net Zero Cloud.

There are no prerequisite exams for the Net Zero Cloud Accredited Professional exam.
However, we strongly encourage completion of the Net Zero Cloud curriculum in Partner
Learning Camp (PLC) before taking the exam.

Typical job titles include roles that require a business consulting skillset, such as:

● Consultants (Functional/Technical)
● Business Analyst
● Solution Architect
● Solution Engineer
● Sustainability/ESG/Carbon/EMS Technology Analyst
● Advisory Service Practitioner

The duties and responsibilities of these roles include:

● Aligning scope emissions (scope 1, 2 and 3)


● Being able to understand the difference between scope 1 and 2
● Being able to advise on the best structure for the customer
● Data analysis and data analytics skills
● Understanding the data a customer has and how it fits into a specific methodology
● Understanding the data model to define the business in Net Zero Cloud
● Looking at what a client does and being able to recommend what they should do
● Understanding how to leverage greenhouse gas (GHG) protocol to map client data
● Understand how to source data into Salesforce
● Understanding the difference between science-based targets
● Understanding data input
○ Integration, reference data, etc.

4. THE PURPOSE OF THIS EXAM GUIDE


This exam guide is designed to help you evaluate if you’re ready to successfully complete
the Net Zero Cloud Accredited Professional exam. This guide provides information about
the exam’s target audience, recommended training, and documentation, and a complete
list of exam objectives—all with the intent of helping you achieve a passing score. Salesforce
highly recommends a combination of on-the-job experience, completion of relevant PLC
curricula, and self-study to maximize your chances of passing the exam.

5. ABOUT THE EXAM

Content: 55 multiple-choice or multiple-select questions

Time allotted to complete the exam: 75 minutes

Passing score: 61%

Registration fee: USD $150 plus applicable taxes as required per local law

Delivery options: Proctored exam delivered in an online proctored environment that can be
accessed through Partner Learning Camp

References: No hard copy or online materials may be referenced during the exam

Prerequisites: None

To prepare for this exam, Salesforce recommends a combination of hands-on experience,
training courses in PLC, and self-study in the areas listed in the Exam Outline section of this
guide.

The Net Zero Cloud self-paced guided learning courses that are hosted in PLC will prepare
the learner for this exam. The courses have direct links to required Trailhead trails,
documentation, tip sheets, and user guides.

8. EXAM CANDIDATE CODE OF CONDUCT

credentials is up to all of us. As a participant in the Salesforce credentialing program, you’re
required to accept the Program Terms for Learning and Credentials.

Participants in the Accredited Professional Program should:

● Use Salesforce-approved study materials available in PLC to prepare for your


credential exam, including exam guides, PLC curricula, and courses.
● Collaborate with other learners in the Partner Community by joining a community
collaboration group and finding a study buddy or mentor.
● Review and abide by the guidelines for online proctored exams.
● Submit a case in the Partner Community if you see any activity that undermines
credential security.

Participants in the Accredited Professional Program are prohibited from:

● Sharing, using, or requesting credential exam questions and answers.


● Offering, receiving, or asking for help during your credential exam.
● Engaging in any other behavior that violates the Program Terms for Learning and
Credentials.

Consequences for violating the Program Agreement include but are not limited
to:

● Suspension from taking any credential exams


● Revocation of credential
● Removal from the Accredited Professional program and the Partner Community
