Installation
Open download page of MicroDicom DICOM Viewer

Installation package
Download installation package on your computer. You can choose between 32 or 64 bit
version of installer.
· MicroDicom DICOM viewer x86 is 32 bit version
· MicroDicom DICOM viewer x64 is 64 bit version
Windows will show "User Account Control" alert. You have to click Yes to start the
installation.
When you click the Finish button on the last step, MicroDicom is installed and will be
run for first time on your machine.
Download portable zip package on your computer. You can choose between 32 or 64
bit version of portable package.
· MicroDicom DICOM viewer x86 zip is 32 bit version
· MicroDicom DICOM viewer x64 zip is 64 bit version
Just double click on mDicom.exe and MicroDicom DICOM Viewer will run.
System requirements
· Windows OS - Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10
and Windows 11
· Intel or AMD 1GHz or faster processor
· 512MB of RAM or more
· 14 MB of free disk space for installation
· 1024x768 screen resolution or higher
MicroDicom DICOM Viewer is application for Windows system. But you can easily run it
on macOS using Wine or CrossOver MAC software.
Setup command-line arguments
Installers accept a few options on the command line. These options give the user a bit
more control over the installation process.

3. Just paste your name, email and serial number that you received after payment in
the following dialog.
· The serial number and email are case sensitive!
· Please do not share your key with others!
Example:
mDicom.exe /SerialNumber XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX /LicenseName "John
Smith" /LicenseEmail john.smith@sample.com

2. Open dialog is shown, select DICOM files that you want to open and click Open
button. You can open also BMP, GIF, JPG, PNG, TIFF, WMF files.
File Name - Specifies the file you want to open. This box lists files with the
extension you select in the List Files of Type field.
List Files of Type - Specifies the type of file you want to open: All files(*.*), All
DICOM files(*.dcm,*.dcm30), DICOM files(*.dcm), DICOM 3.0 files(*.dcm30),
DICOM ZIP files(*.dmz)

· Double mouse click on a DICOM file in File Explorer or right mouse click Open with
MicroDicom DICOM Viewer
2. Open dialog is shown, select DICOMDIR file that you want to open and click Open
button.

4. Files from archive will be extracted in a temp folder and will be scaned for DICOM
files.
