The Gift

Sophia had always been a giver. She loved the feeling of making others happy, and
it brought her great joy to see the smiles on people's faces when they received a
thoughtful gift from her. However, she had never received a gift that truly touched
her heart.

One day, as she was walking home from work, she noticed a little antique store that
she had never seen before. She decided to go in and browse, and was immediately
drawn to a beautiful necklace that was displayed in the front window. She asked the
shop owner if she could try it on, and as soon as she put it on, she knew that it
was the perfect gift for herself.

As she walked out of the store, she felt a sense of guilt for buying such an
expensive gift for herself. She thought about returning it, but then remembered how
much joy she felt when she gave gifts to others. She realized that it was okay to
give herself a gift every once in a while, especially since she worked so hard and
rarely treated herself.

The next day, Sophia wore the necklace to work and received so many compliments
from her colleagues. One of her co-workers, Sarah, even asked her where she got it
from. Sophia felt a tug at her heartstrings and knew that she had to give the
necklace to Sarah.
