PIF Year 1.

Legend:
Word (EN): here you write down the English word (phrases/words like put down count as one word).
Translation (NL): what is the English word in Dutch (sometimes words can’t be translated, just like we don’t translate stroopwafel to English).
Definition (EN): find an English definition for your word but put in your own words. Use an (online) dictionary for this, NOT Google Translate.
Sentence: if possible, write down the sentence that you found the word in. Because context is important for the meaning of your word.
Source: write down where you came across your word. Examples: Netflix, a book (write down the title!), during class, etc.

Instructions:
Save this document to your OneDrive (if you don’t do this then you might lose everything and that’s your
responsibility). When you’re finished you need to print your PIF file to your Portfolio. Follow these steps.

Click Bestand (at the top) and select Afdrukken (on the left side). Select the printer to print to OneNote.
Click on Afdrukken. Now OneNote will open and you need to select your Portfolio.

Add your PIF file to the section Year 1 – PIF files and make sure you give your page the correct title.
