VIDEO INTRO The country’s economic renaissance took root in the decade
-JULIANA - VOICE prior to the pandemic. The rude awakening from the pandemic
AUDIO was that a services and remittances led growth model doesn’t do
too well in a global disease outbreak. The Philippines’ economic
growth faltered in 2020 entering negative territory for the first
time since 1999, and the country experienced one of the deepest
contractions in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations…
Now let’s hear from some students on what they think of the
Philippines economy.
JUSTIN - 9TH GRADE Good Morning, I’m Justin, I am currently in 9th grade.
VENICE - 9TH GRADE Hi, I’m Venice, I am currently in 9th grade, at New Era
University
ALTHEA - Being a student could help our economy grow more with how
the economy depends on the knowledge of the students. Once
they graduate they can use the knowledge they've learned to
work thus contributing to the economy.
JOSHUA PHOEBUS - I can be part of the country's economic development by using the
internet for my studies. Because the Internet will produce
significant cost savings in many sectors of the economy, resulting
in faster productivity growth. Across a range of large and
developed economies, the Internet exerts a strong influence on
economic growth rates.
JULIANA -
JUSTIN -
MEHR TIFFANY - One of the most typical ways I would contribute to economic
development is to buy our own products. By doing so, you may
encourage people to buy local goods, allowing more money to
circulate in our community's economy and, in many cases,
receiving better service. This would maintain the economy's
balance in our country.
SUMMARIZATION/CONCLUSION
JULIANA - LAST - In general, us students can help the Philippines economy by
RECAP - VOICE either buying our own products, getting a valuable education,
AUDIO paying taxes in our households, being productive adults, and
using wifi or any gadget for online classes. This is our
presentation, thank you for watching.
