LESSON ACTIVITY #2 &

PROJECT #2

Mariane Joyce D. Miano

BTVTED-GFD
ANALYSIS

1. When you gave your own predictions as to the kind of child , adolescent and adult
Naschielle and Kenn may become and hypothesized on who they once we’re, you were
referring to human development. What then is development? Translate the meaning of
development in your Mother Tounge.
 Development – is a process of developing or starting to grow physically, mentally, and
emotionally.
 Development – ini ang proseso ning pagbabago o pag puon kang pagbabago sa lawas,
pag-iisip asin sa pakiramdam.
2. Will three-year old Kenn be able to do all that seven-year old Naschielle can do? Why or
why not?
 Kenn can do all the things Naschielle did as long as he can be able to reach the age of
seven and if Kenn’s parents give him the needs of a three-year old kid especially the
healthy foods which he needs to grow and develop his body accordingly. And if Kenn’s
parents can’t be able to support him well in his needs there is a possibility that he can’t
be able to do all that seven-year old Naschielle can do because what if he grew up with n
unhealthy body. This will be a hindrance for him to do those things that Naschielle can
do.
3. Will there be anything common in the pattern of development of Naschielle and Kenn? If
yes, why?
 Yes, there is a common in the pattern of development of Naschielle and Kenn because
both of them are still young and as we all know we have these stages of development
where Kenn is at the second stage and Naschielle is at the third stage. There are still
more stages waiting for the both of them. Also, we have this cephalocaudal pattern and
proximodistal pattern which are common to Naschielle’s nd Kenn’s age
4. Will there be differences in their development, e.g. pace or rate of development? What and
why?
 I think there will be differences in their development either pace or rate of development
and that is their body development or maybe even the development of their mind set. As
you can see, they have different gender. If they grow up the development of there body
will be different and about their mind development, if they grow up with different
environment and especially if Kenn’s parent way of parenting him is different from
Naschielle’s parents. Meaning there development will be different.
5. Will the process of development take please very fast or gradually ? Expound on your
answer .
 The process of development in human even in animals or plants take place gradually. It
takes a long time especially in humans. May be there is development in the world that
may not visible in human eyes that develop in just a flash but not yet proven. So, for us
humans it takes us 9 months to develop inside our mother’s womb and take us years to
become what we are now.
6. Do you believe that Naschielle and Kenn will continue to develop even in adulthood? Or will
they stop developing in adulthood?
 I believe that Naschielle and Kenn will continue to develop even in adulthood because as
long as our body lives there is always a development occuring especially inside out
body.
SYNAPSE STRENGTHENERS
1. Research further on the cephalocaudal and proximodistal patterns of development.
A. Illustrate bother patterns in drawing or diagrams.

B. How do you apply your knowledge of cephalocaudal and proximodistal patterns of

development in your teaching?
 The knowledge of cephalocaudal and proximodistal patterns of development can be
helpful to differentiate what are the right things for the children to use. Like the pencils
used by the lower levels are bigger than the higher levels. If my students are small kids
with little hands it better to give them larger pencil because it is much easier for their
little hands to hold as they develop their fine motor skills and story writing skills. Plus it
helps with learning to form the proper way to hold a pencil which can make a huge
impact on handwriting in the future.
2. Interpret the following quotations in relation to human development:
A. “ Every man is in certain respects like all other men, like some other man , no other
man.” ( Murray, H.A &C. Kluckholhn)

 Basically this statement is saying that all people have something in common, some
people have things in common with some others but not all, and all people probably have
something unique, something different from anyone else. Maybe we can all think about
what this may be and I ’ve got mine already.
B. “ Man is an unfinished project . He’s always in the process of becoming.”

 From the phrases, “ unfinished project” and “process of becoming”. It is like human
development we are an unfinished project that will never be finished and everyday we
develop certain thing about ourselves through our environment, the people surrounds us,
etc. A new day, a new us. There is always a changes and that is why we became
unfinished.
2. Present your interpretations by way of a PowerPoint. In the light of researches on human
development, which of the two approaches is closer to the truth- traditional or lifespan?
Why?
 I believe that the closer to the truth is the lifespan than the traditional approach since it
states that human development is a lifelong process.

PROBLEM REASEARCH METHODOLOGY

 How to use science to do the best for  Scientists in Britain followed thousands
our children? of children through their lives. They
collected information from these children
and compare all of them through doing all
of them, if they are doing well at school
or if they end up and healthy or happy or

turned out difficult or good.

How are the findings of this research useful to teachers?

 As a future teacher this findings are useful to understand more what are the children's or students
needs to be able learn effectively inside the classroom. According to the study, parents really
matter so if you start from the parents like telling them what to do for the children to engage more
in studying by talking to them like what Helena said in her speech that we should have more
interest in our children’s future. Also as a future teacher we are going to be a second parents as
well to our students and applying this study in our teaching we can be able to help them develop
and guide them to a right path and so that they could not end up in difficult circumstances.
