Compare and contrast

Rural life and urban life

Contrast Compare Contrast

Rural life - Urban life

facilities (shopping,
recreation, etc.)
Sparsely populated A good life style for Densely populated
different people
Calm and relaxing area Common jobs Noisy

facilities (hospitals,
Schools, etc.)

There isn’t much to do Traffic jams

Both rural and urban lives have a lot of advantages, but also many
disadvantages. In fact they are two similarly lifestyles but for two different
types of people. One type of people are those who prefer a healthier lifestyle,
a quieter place to live, more space and cleaner air because it is sparsely
populated, people have large gardens with lots of plants and trees where they
can spend time to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. On the other hand
there is the second type of people who prefer to live in the heart of the city,
integrated in the hustle and bustle of it. Different from the people who prefer
the quietness of the countryside, the urban citizens look out for better
lifestyles, a variety of jobs, strong educational systems or entertaining
nightlife.
I think that two lifestyles have their own charm but they are suitable
for different people or different times of life, for example many young
people preferring city life while adults prefer rural life.
