Mount Fuji

In my opinion Mount Fuji is the coolest place on Earth, because it’s

very beautiful place.
Mount Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan (3776 meters), located
about 100 kilometers away from Tokyo. Mount Fuji has the shape of a
perfectly symmetrical cone, being a famous symbol of Japan, with
frequent appearances in photographs and advertisements to promote
tourism. In Japanese culture, Mount Fiji is considered a holy place, an
element of nature with which Japan has been blessed by the gods.
Mount Fuji is attractive for climbers who want to push their limits. It
seems that the first person to reach the top of Mount Fuji was an
anonymous monk in 663.
The weather is unpredictable at any time of the year and there have
been unfortunate cases when tourists have simply been blown by the
wind from the mountain ridges. In winter, temperatures drop to -40
degrees Celsius, and the risk of accidents increases considerably.
Every year, various competitions are organized on Mount Fuji, of
which the ones for athletes are the most difficult. Athletes completed
the climb to Mount Fuji in just two hours, while a person with normal
physical training manages to reach the top in about eight hours.
Usually, tourists prefer to embark on the great journey at night, so that
the sunrise will catch them at the top of Mount Fuji. The view is
breathtaking and it seems that the whole world is at your feet.
Mount Fuji is a natural wonder in Japan, being a real challenge for
mountaineering enthusiasts.
