OneAmerica Honors Employees with Annual Awards

Headquarters nominates employees for awards recognizing associates and their achievements

INDIANAPOLIS–February 19, 2023–OneAmerica celebrates the accomplishments of over 140

nominees at headquarters annual ASPIRE awards.

The life insurance, retirement and employee benefits organization recognizes employees with
the ninth annual ASPIRE awards. This year there are over 140 company employees who were
nominated for the awards. The ASPIRE awards got its name from the six principles that are
highly regarded to the company, achievement, stewardship, partnership, integrity,
responsiveness, and excellence.

The goal of the awards is to recognize employees of the company who excelled in their
performance over the year. “These individuals exemplify what it means to be a OneAmerica
employee and leader,” said Scott Davision, chairman, president and CEO of OneAmerica. “Their
commitment to each other and our customers embody each of the ASPIRE core values.”
Employees are nominated either by their fellow coworkers or supervisors before a selection
committee meets to pick the top candidates.

Marcie Rimmele, of Carmel, Indiana, is in her 15th year of service as a OneAmerica sales
associate. She is known for having a welcoming demeanor and ability to instill confidence in her
fellow employees. She is often seen as the “glue” that connects teams together and loves
learning new skills. Among her many accomplishments, her work as a life insurance plan
associate has made the division more efficient. She currently has two children, ages 12 and 8,
who join her and her husband, Dave, in their goal to visit every U.S. National Park, and so far
they have visited over 56.

Kevin Weston, of Indianapolis, Indiana, has over 35 years of experience in information

technology (IT) with 30 years at OneAmerica. Coworkers describe him as approachable and
insightful, his work in IT has been fundamental in expanding the company's data collection,
especially in the retirement plan division. Weston holds a degree from Purdue University and
continues to give back to the community as a volunteer mentor to start up companies.
There will be an award ceremony followed by company events at the beginning of March.
Employees are encouraged to bring family to the events to celebrate the accomplishments of
the nominees as well as the company.
