Chapter 12

Spiritual World

The Spiritual World is all around us and in the heavens and was created before us. The
angels govern over us now, but when we go to heaven, which will be brought down to
earth for us someday, then we will have heavenly bodies and we will govern over the
angels. We are called saints in heaven.
Matthew 22:30 & 32 “For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in
marriage, but are like angels of God in heaven. …32God is not the God of the dead, but of
the living.”
Deuteronomy 33:3 Yes, He loves the people; all His saints are in Your hand; they sit
down at Your feet; Everyone receives Your words.
1Corinthians 6:3&11 Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more,
things that pertain to this life? 1Corinthians 6:4-10 tells us how stupid we are to go
against each other and then take it to a judge that is not one of us. It tells how bad we can
be… 11And such were some of you, but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you
were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.
We are not worthy to judge angels on this earth. Satan was created an angel and Jesus
overcame him when He died and rose again. We are capable of overcoming evil, but the
angels still govern over us here on earth. 1/3 of the angels followed Satan and are in
chains.
Jude 1:6 And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode,
He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day.
We need angels because they save us when nothing else can. We have a lot to learn here
on earth before we will govern over them in heaven.

Jesus gave us the power to overcome evil spirits here on earth, but we don’t have any
power without speaking Jesus’ name or scripture.

In Daniel 9:20-27 it says ‘Messiah shall be cut off’ this means the Bible ends and Jesus’
kingdom continues, but it is not written in the Bible what we do in His kingdom. So it is
believed that it is the church age that is not written in the Bible. The Bible had to end,
but we have gone on.
Matthew 24:14-16 & 20-22 “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the
world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. 15Therefore when you
see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy
place” (whoever reads, let him understand), 16then let those who are in Judea flee to the
mountains. …20And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath. 21For
then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world
until this time, no nor ever shall be. 22And unless those days were shortened, no flesh
would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.”
We are the elect’s that tribulation is shortened for. Believers, the elect, the chosen, babes
– that’s us.

92
Daniel 9:20-27 Now while I was speaking, praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of
my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the LORD my God for the holy
mountain of my God. 21yes, while I was speaking in prayer the man Gabriel, whom I had
seen in a vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, reached me about the time of
the evening offering. 22And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, “O Daniel, I
have now come forth to give you skill to understand. 23At the beginning of your
supplications the command went out, and I have come to tell you, for you are greatly
beloved; therefore consider the matter, and understand the vision: 24”Seventy weeks are
determined for your people and for your holy city, to finish the transgression, to make an
end of sins, to make reconciliation for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to
seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy. 25Know therefore and
understand, that from the going forth of the command to restore and build Jerusalem
until Messiah the Prince, there shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks: The street
shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublesome times. 26And after the sixty-two
weeks Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself; and the people of the prince who is to
come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end of it shall be with a flood, and till
the end of the war desolations are determined. 27Then he shall confirm a covenant with
many for one week; but in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and
offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, even until
the consummation, which is determined, is poured out on the desolate.”
As for the Seventy weeks and the seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; the scholars have
that math in biblical years and Gregorian years and they start the counting from the time
it was prophesized until Jesus died. If you want to do the math then consult their studies.
Daniel got to see the spiritual world. The old prophets got to see the future. Some
prophesy has not been fulfilled yet. Scholars study prophesy continuously.

Job 1:6-7 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before
the LORD, and Satan also came among them. 7And the LORD said to Satan, “From
where do you come?” So Satan answered the LORD and said, “From going to and fro
on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it.”

Satan is an angel, created by God the Creator. Satan was involved with music in heaven.
Ezekiel 28:11-19 Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying, 12”Son of man,
take up a lamentation for the king of Tyre, and say to him, ‘thus says the LORD GOD:
“You were the seal of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. 13You were in
Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone was your covering: The sardius, topaz,
and diamond, beryl, onyx and jasper, sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold. The
workmanship of your timbrels and pipes was prepared for you on the day you were
created. 14You were the anointed cherub who covers; I established you; you were on
the holy mountain of God; you walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones.
15You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, till iniquity was found
in you. 16By the abundance of your trading you became filled with violence within, and
you sinned; therefore I cast you as a profane thing out of the mountain of God; and I

93
destroyed you, O covering cherub, from the midst of the fiery stones. 17Your heart was
lifted up because of your beauty; you corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your
splendor; I cast you to the ground, I laid you before kings, that they might gaze at you.
18You defiled your sanctuaries by the multitude of your iniquities, by the iniquity of
your trading; therefore I brought fire from your midst; it devoured you, and I turned
you to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all who saw you. 19All who knew you among
the peoples are astonished at you; you have become a horror, and shall be no more
forever.”
Satan was cast to the ground which is earth. He is here and is capable of whispering lies
to us and turning people evil. This is one of the things we have to learn during our lives.
Always turn from evil to God and you will be okay. Life still happens to believers and
Satan hates us and will keep trying to attack us our entire lives.
Isaiah 14:12-15 How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How
you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations! 13For you have said in
your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I
will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north; 14I will
ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High. 15Yet you shall be
brought down to Sheol, to the lowest depths of the Pit.
Sheol, hell, the Pit was created for Satan. God created angels with eternal life, but they
don’t get a second chance after they sin. People put themselves in hell by turning their
backs to God:
Deuteronomy 7:9, 10 Therefore know that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful
God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him
and keep His commandments; 10and He repays those who hate Him to their face, to
destroy them. He will not be slack with him who hates Him; He will repay him to his
face.
Always be careful because the same God that provides does let go of you if you want
Him to:
Romans 1:24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their
hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves,
Romans 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave
them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting:
If you don’t turn toward God then Satan is right there to lie to you and try to convince
you to never turn toward God again. People don’t just get a second chance; they get
another chance every time they go to God and confess their sin. Satan will not be put in
hell until the end of the world: also called judgment day. After judgment day God will
bring heaven down to earth and we have everlasting life. Satan will be released from hell
after 1000 years.
Revelation 20:1-3 Then I saw an angle coming down from heaven, having the key to the
bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of
old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. 3and he cast him
into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive
the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must
be released for a little while.

94
In that little while Satan collects all the others that did not follow Jesus and then God
brings fire on them and sends them all to hell to be tortured forever. This lesson is why
we believers tell our children about God, so that they will return to Him.
Joel 1:3 Tell your children about it, let your children tell their children, and their
children another generation.
Zechariah 1:3 Therefore say to them, Thus say the LORD of hosts: “Return to Me, says
the LORD of hosts, and I will return to you,” says the LORD of hosts.
Revelation 2:5 “Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first
works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place –
unless you repent.
Repent is to always turn to God, love one another and love God. Tell scripture to the
devil so he is overcome.
Revelation 2:25, 26 “But hold fast what you have till I come. 26And he who overcomes,
and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations –
What you have is the power of the Holy Spirit to remember scripture to overcome evil.
You overcome evil with scripture. My works and first works are to tell about Jesus to the
world.

Satan has ministers to trick you:

2 Corinthians 11:14, 15 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an
angel of light. 15Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves
into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.

1 Timothy 3:5,6 (for if a man does not know how to rule his own house, how will he take
care of the church of God?); 6not a novice, lest being puffed up with pride he fall into the
same condemnation as the devil.

2 Peter 2:4&9 For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell
and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment; …9then the Lord
knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under
punishment for the day of judgment.
There will be a day of judgment for the godly and the unjust. All will come under
judgment on that day.

God created us to be like Him, but we are not Him. We try to be like Him, but we honor
Him. Satan wanted to be above the Most High; we just try to be like Him.
Job 38:6-7 To what were its foundations fastened? Or who laid its cornerstone. 7When
the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

Jude 1:6 And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode,
He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day;

Revelation 12:7-9 And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the
dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, 8but they did not prevail, or was a place
found for them in heaven any longer. 9So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of

95
old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth,
and his angels were cast out with him.
This is why the devil is referred to as the ruler of this world. Satan has power, but
believers of Jesus have power to overcome Satan as Jesus did. And you should give your
will to the Holy Spirit to be born again of the Spirit. Note that Michael and his angels
fight. Gabriel and his angels give us messages and protect us. Satan and his angels were
worshippers, but they fell and we are the worshippers now.

Genesis 3:14, 15 So the LORD God said to the serpent: “Because you have done this,
you are cursed more than all cattle, and more than every beast of the field; on your
belly you shall go, and you shall eat dust all the days of your life. 15And I will put
enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He shall
bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.”
God created angels with eternal life. In this verse God is talking to Satan about
convincing Eve to eat of the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. When He
says ‘your seed” He is talking about the fallen angels and other people that the evil one
convinces to sin. ‘Her Seed’ is Jesus.

After the church’s people have left this earth, then all the ones left will worship Satan:
Revelation 13:8-10 All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not
been written in the book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. 9If
anyone has an ear, let him hear. 10He who leads into captivity shall go into captivity; he
who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith
of the saints.
The patience of the saints is the trust they have in God, that He will do what He said He
would do and waiting on the LORD to do things in His timing.
Psalm 27:14 Wait on the LORD; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart;
wait, I say, on the LORD!

2Kings 13:21 So it was, as they were burying a man, that suddenly they spied a band of
raiders; and they put the man in the tomb of Elisha; and when the man was let down and
touched the bones of Elisha, he revived and stood on his feet.
This was Elisha’s 16th miracle. Elijah performed 8 miracles and Elisha was promised
double what Elijah did. After Elisha was dead in the tomb, his 16th miracle came, in
God’s timing.

Matthew 4:4 But He answered (Satan) and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by
bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’”
Matthew 4:7 Jesus said to him, “It is written again, ‘You shall not tempt the LORD your
God.’”
Matthew 4:10 Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You
shall worship the LORD your God, and Him only you shall serve.’”
Matthew 4:11 Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to Him.

That is the way we have been empowered to fight Satan. Use scripture and he leaves.
Evil always comes back because he knows his time is short. Satan in Matthew 4:9 tried

96
to get Jesus to worship him. That’s what he wants, but Jesus has overcome and He wants
us to overcome.
Revelation 12:12 Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the
inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great
wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.

Matthew 5:12a “Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven,
Matthew 5:34 “But I say to you, do not swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is God’s
throne:
Matthew 5:37 “But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more
than these is from the evil one.”
Matthew 5:39 “But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your
right cheek, turn the other to him also.

Matthew 6:2 “Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before
you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory
from men.
Matthew 6:19-21 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, 20but lay up for
yourselves treasures in heaven… 21For where your treasure is, there your heart will be
also.”

Mark 8:23-25 So He took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the town. And
when He had spit on his eyes and put His hands on him, He asked him if he saw anything.
24And he looked up and said, “I see men like trees, walking.” 25Then He put His hands on
his eyes again and made him look up. And he was restored and saw everyone clearly.
First he saw men like trees; walking… this is the way the Bible reads sometimes. Men
are referred to as trees. So Jesus restored his spirit first and then his eyesight. Jesus gave
him eyes to see scripture and understand it before he healed his eyes.
Mark 3:28, 29 “Assuredly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and
whatever blasphemies they may utter; 29but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit
never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation”

Mark 3:35 “For whoever does the will of God is My brother and My sister and mother.”

Deuteronomy 8:19 Then it shall be, if you by any means forget the LORD your God, and
follow other gods, and serve them and worship them, I testify against you this day that
you shall surely perish.

Joshua 1:8 “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall
meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written
in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good
success.”

97
Psalm 19:14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in
Your sight, O LORD, my strength and my Redeemer.

Psalm 119:15 I will meditate on Your precepts, and contemplate Your ways.

Psalm 104:34 May my meditation be sweet to Him; I will be glad in the LORD.
Meditation is prayer.

Psalm 1:1, 2 Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands
in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; 2but his delight is in the law of
the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night.
Don’t hang around people that are against God, they will influence you instead of you
influencing them.

Mark 4:15 “And these are the ones by the wayside where the word is sown. When they
hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts.”

Satan wants to steal the word from you because it is how you can make him leave. Jesus
said to Satan three times “It is written” and quoted scripture to him and then he left.

Amos 8:11 “Behold, the days are coming”, says the Lord God, “That I will send a famine
on the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but the hearing the words of the
LORD.
There are no red letters in the book of Amos, but Lord in the Bible means Jesus, God the
Son and LORD is Father God Creator. Jesus had not come yet. Amos is a prophet of old
during good times for Israel, but the people were indifferent to the word. This is an
opening for Satan, the devil, the evil one and his minions – people who follow Satan
whether they know it or not. Know the word of God for your own safety.

Luke 6:45 “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an
evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance
of the heart his mouth speaks.

Then Jesus commands us to FORGIVE because our Father in heaven has forgiven us.
(Verses 33 and 34 are part of a parable, but 35 explains:
Matthew 18:33-35 “Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant,
just as I had pity on you? 34And his master was angry, and delivered him to the torturers
until he should pay all that was due to him. 35So My heavenly Father also will do to you if
each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his trespasses.” God punishes
for not forgiving others. He lets you wallow in your non-forgiveness. Forgiveness
releases you from your pain. It is not easy to forgive someone who has hurt you, but God
has given us a way to live through the hurt. How can you live through some of the
travesties in life without God? If you believe and trust in God, He will turn what was
meant for your harm into good.

98
In Genesis a boy named Joseph was thrown in a pit and sold to the Egyptians by his
brothers because they hated the way their father favored him. Joseph said to them after
God had turned their evil to good:
Genesis 50:20 “But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good in
order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.”
By trusting in God and forgiving someone who has done an evil thing to you; you are
turning from evil to God. This is an act of faith that is the only way to turn an evil thing
into a good thing.
You can forgive from a distance. This means you don’t have to tell the person that you
have forgiven them. When you forgive them then they do not have a hold on you
anymore. You forgive for you, not them.

Exodus 14:14 The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.
This peace is within you. The LORD will not fight for you if you think you are
accomplishing things your way. He will let you fight, by yourself, all alone. That is a
scary place to be in the Spiritual World.

Matthew 24:22 “And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for
the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.”
We are the elect and the days that are shortened are the days of tribulation. Jesus said we
would have tribulation because we believe in Him, but all have tribulation in their lives.
Jesus was also talking about the end days of tribulation. He will meet us in the sky, this
is referred to as the Rapture, and save us from a great deal of the tribulation. Then just
non-believers will be here on earth. After Satan is put in the pit or hell or Sheol, then
heaven will be brought to earth and we will be brought back.
Matthew 24:24 “For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and
wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.”
These false christs and prophets will try to fool even the elect. This is why Jesus told us
about these false people. During tribulation there will be an anti-christ that will arise and
do great signs and wonders. He is going to raise three people from the dead after three
days. The anti-christ is trying to imitate Jesus. The anti-christ gets his power from Satan.
Matthew 24:29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened,
and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the
heavens will be shaken.”
The powers of the heavens will be shaken. All of the elect and angels and God will
experience this. God will be with us even then.

Luke 10:18 And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.”

Serpents and scorpions = Satan

Luke 10:19 “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and
over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

People are trees; this verse they are branches

John 15:5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him,
bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.”

99
Matthew 12:43-45 “When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry
places, seeking rest, and finds none. 44Then he says, I will return to my house from which
I came.’ And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order. 45Then he goes
and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell
there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it also be with this
wicked generation.”
The unclean spirit finds it empty. When God saves you; you must then fill yourself with
Him, His word, His ways, and His will. Then the unclean cannot reenter you.
Deuteronomy 7:9, 10 Therefore know that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful
God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him
and keep His commandments; 10and He repays those who hate Him to their face, to
destroy them. He will not be slack with him who hates Him; He will repay him to his
face.
Deuteronomy 7:21, 22 You shall not be terrified of them, for the LORD your God, the
great and awesome God, is among you. 22And the LORD your God will drive out those
nations before you little by little, you will be unable to destroy them at once, lest the
beasts of the field become too numerous for you.
Birds and beasts of the field = Satan’s army = demons and people who believe Satan’s
lies
Beasts of the field are demon spirits.
Birds devour seed; Seed is the word of God.
Shepherds are pastors/ Sheep are God’s people.
Ezekiel 34:5 So they were scattered because there was no shepherd; and they became
food for all the beasts of the field when they were scattered.
Ezekiel 34:15 “I will feed My flock, and I will make them lie down,” says the LORD
God.

Birds devour seed. Seed is the word of God.

Mark 4:2 Then He taught them many things by parables,
Mark 4:14,15 “The sower sows the word. 15And these are the ones by the wayside where
the word is sown. When they hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away the word
that was sown in their hearts”
Satan comes immediately and takes away the word, even though it was sown into their
hearts. Yet Jesus saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. Well he fell to earth. Adam
was given dominion of the earth, but Adam and Eve believed the lie that Satan told them.
Genesis 1:28 Then God blessed them and God said to them (Adam and Eve), “Be fruitful
and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over
the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
Genesis 3:3-5 but of the fruit of the tree in the midst of the garden, God has said, “You
shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.” 4Then the serpent said to the
woman, “You will not surely die. 5For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes
will be opened and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
Daniel 7:11-12 I watched then because of the sound of the pompous words which the
horn was speaking; I watched till the beast was slain, and its body destroyed and given to
the burning flame. 12As for the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away, yet
their lives were prolonged for a season and a time.

100
So Satan stole the dominion from Adam. And God knew at that point that He would send
His Son Jesus to take the dominion back.
God had made Adam the king and Adam believed the lie. Jesus taught us how to
overcome because He saw Satan fall from heaven. When Jesus died for us He gave us
back what had been given to Adam.
Revelation 1:6 and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory
and dominion forever and ever. Amen. Jesus is our King. Adam had a purpose and that
was to take dominion over the earth. We have that purpose now. Of course you have no
spiritual power without God.

Get a grip on what spiritualness is. It is so simple for Satan to lie to us. Satan is there
first thing in the morning to start lying to us. You believe a little lie and then you have
given Satan an opening. Satan always starts small because that is how he gets away with
it over and over. First thing in the morning; you hear the lie, “so and so is messing up” so
your thoughts turn to so and so. Stop right there. You know God did not put that thought
in your head. You probably think you are psychic and you know things. Wrong. You
know nothing and Satan knows you know nothing. Oddly God never puts thoughts into
your head unless you ask Him to. Satan does it every morning. Oddly prayer is a
thought. Oddly Satan cannot read our thoughts because they are prayers. You have to
speak out loud to Satan. And all it takes to get rid of Satan is to say, “Jesus” or quote
scripture. But Satan will be back. The last thing he wants is for you to realize that you
have power over him because God gave it to you. This is what Satan said to Jesus:
Luke 4:5,6 Then the devil, taking Him up on a high mountain, showed Him all the
kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. 6And the devil said to Him, ‘All this authority
I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whoever
I wish.’
Satan knows that the world is delivered to him by us individually each day just like Adam
and Eve did on that day they ate from the fruit of the tree of knowledge. Jesus knew that
He is our King and Satan has no authority. But Satan does have authority if we give it to
him and it does not matter how he tricks us into giving him our power.
Luke 18:10 “for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”
Jesus came to give us back what Satan took from us. Authority and power over the earth
and dominion of all of it. God blesses those He possesses.
John 14:12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he
will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.”
Greater works than Jesus; maybe that’s because Satan keeps coming back, so we have to
do greater works more often. Satan told Jesus three lies and three times Jesus quoted
scripture and Satan went away. We are gullible. Jesus, God the Son told us what to do
and said I will be with My Father, God the Father; how much power is that when
Almighty God just needs us to go to Him instead of believing a lie.
Luke 10:19 “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and
over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
We have the authority to trample evil. The spiritual world is not just evil. The evil is just
pushy. The spiritual world is full of angels that we do not see also, but they are for us
and not against us.

2 Kings 6:15-17 And when the servant of the man of God arose early and went out, there
was an army, surrounding the city with horses and chariots. And his servant said to him,
“Alas, my master! What shall we do?” 16So he answered, “Do not fear, for those who are
with us are more than those who are with them.” 17And Elisha prayed, and said, “LORD,
I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the LORD opened the eyes of the young
man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all
around Elisha.
Just don’t ever worship angels because God is the one in control.
Revelation 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “See that you
do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of
Jesus. Worship God!”
Just know the angels are there and God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the
LORD God had made.
More cunning; the Bible doesn’t say how he got that way, but God made it so we
replaced Satan. When we worship God then we take the place of Satan in heaven. Satan
was created to worship God along with 1/3 of the angels. Satan fell to earth and the
angels were chained. The other 2/3’s of the angels go with Michael and Gabriel.
Michael is a warrior, Gabriel is a messenger, and Satan was the worshipper. But Satan
fell to earth and he won’t be put in hell until the second coming of Jesus. In the
meantime we are the worshippers and we have authority over the power of the enemy.
The most cunning enemy.
Continued: Genesis 3:1-3 …And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, You shall
not eat of every tree of the garden”? 2And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat
the fruit of the trees of the garden; 3but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the
garden, God, has said, “You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die!”
Satan’s first lie came next. All he has done since, is lie to us. Satan is mad and he is
cunning; too bad for him. Tell everyone about this hoax coming from the enemy and the
world will be safe.

Michael is the great prince who stands watch over the sons.
Daniel 12:1 “At that time Michael shall stand up, the great prince who stands watch over
the sons of your people; and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since
there was a nation, even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered,
every one who is found written in the book.”
Gabriel is the great messenger.
Luke 1:35 And the angel answered and said to her (virgin Mary), “The Holy Spirit will
come upon you, and the power of the Highest will over shadow you; therefore, also that
Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.
Satan was the great worshipper. Timbrels and pipes were Satan’s instruments. We have
timbrels and pipes; voices to sing and hands to clap.
Ezekiel 28:13 You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone was your
covering; the sardius, topaz, and diamond, beryl, onyx, and jasper, sapphire, turquoise,
and emerald with gold. The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes was prepared for
you on the day you were created.

102
Ezekiel 28:15 You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, till iniquity
was found in you.
Angels do not get a second chance. We do, we are forgiven over and over by God; but
not the angels. Those angels were created to worship God and they sinned once and it
was over for them because they had power over us. God had to chain the angels and
Jesus had to take Satan’s power away and give it to us.
Jude 1:6 And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode,
He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day;
When Jesus died and rose again; He took Satan’s power away.
1 Peter 1:12-16 To them it was revealed that, not to themselves, but to us they were
ministering the things which now have been reported to you through those who have
preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven – things which angels
desire to look into. 13Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your
hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
14as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your
ignorance; 15but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct,
16because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.” The Holy Spirit is poured out on the
church, receive Him. Obedience brings blessings. Things which angels desire to look
into; angels don’t get a second chance, but we get chance after chance because we have
taken the place of Satan and his fallen angels.

Speaking in tongues:
1Corinthians 14:12-16 Even so you, since you are zealous for spiritual gifts, let it be for
the edification of the church that you seek to excel. 13Therefore let him who speaks in a
tongue pray that he may interpret. 14For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my
understanding is unfruitful. 15What is the conclusion then? I will pray with the spirit, and
I will also pray with the understanding. I will sing with the spirit, and I will also sing
with the understanding. 16Otherwise, if you bless with the spirit, how will he who
occupies the place of the uninformed say “Amen” at you giving of thanks, since he does
not understand what you say? Speaking in tongue is not understandable, yet it is the
deepest worship you will ever hear. The Holy Spirit joins with your spirit and thanks
God for anything and everything and the syllables come out of your mouth. They don’t
make any since, which is why Paul (the writer of this letter to the Corinthians) is trying to
explain this gift from God. You might not understand, but you are connected to God in a
way that is edification for you and the church. It builds you up to have this connection.
Speaking in tongue is not something that just comes to a person unless it’s your main gift.
You can try to speak in tongues in a private place. Remember it is a connection of your
spirit with the Holy Spirit. If a syllable comes to mind then say it and then maybe the
next syllable will come. Remember you gave your will to the Holy Spirit before you ever
tried to have the Holy Spirit speak through you. Perhaps the Holy Spirit has spoke
through you to other people. Speaking in tongue is something you can practice when you
are alone with God. Pray understanding, which is the way you just speak to God and
understand what you are saying. Speaking in tongue seems to be praise only. You are
never asking for anything, just telling God how wonderful He is. If you never speak in
tongues, don’t worry; the Bible says worry about nothing, pray about everything. Don’t
look down on others that speak in tongue, it is their rite.

103
1Corinthians 14:39 Therefore, brethren, desire earnestly to prophesy, and do not forbid
to speak with tongues.
1Corinthians 14:4 He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies
edifies the church.
Edify – To build, to construct; hence, to organize; establish. To profit morally or
spiritually.
Prophesy – to utter with or as with divine inspiration.
1Corinthians 14:3 But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort
to men.
Paul was telling about gifts from God. Don’t rush this process. People are given gifts
from God. Speaking in tongue is done in private mostly and it is praising our God.
Jude 1:20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in
the Holy Spirit,
Romans 8:17, 18 and if children, then heirs – heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if
indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. 18For I consider that
the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which
shall be revealed in us.
Romans 8:38, 39 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor
principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39nor height nor depth,
nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in
Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 16:20 And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace
of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you, Amen.
2 Corinthians 4:8, 9 We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are
perplexed, but not in despair; 9persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not
destroyed –
Galatians 1:8, 9 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you
than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. 9As we have said before, so now
I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let
him be accursed.
2 Timothy 4:18 And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for
His heavenly kingdom. To Him be glory for ever and ever. Amen!
Luke 6:38 “ and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together
and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it
will be measured back to you.”
Always remember how big God is; ask Him for anything and if you ask for big, big
things that are in His will, then watch out because He answers big. Go ahead and ask
Him to solve the problems of the world, He is in charge.

A talking donkey is used in scripture in the book of Numbers because an Angel of the
LORD, Jesus needed a man’s attention, but the man ignored even a talking donkey.
People don’t know the spirit world when they are in it.
Numbers 22:33 The donkey saw Me and turned aside from Me these three times. If she
had not turned from Me, surely I would also have killed you by now, and let her live.
God gave us Jesus who is the Angel of the LORD. Jesus said to follow His commands:

104
Matthew 4:4 But He answered (Satan) and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by
bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’”
Matthew 4:7 Jesus said to him, “It is written again, ‘You shall not tempt the LORD your
God.’”
Matthew 4:10 Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You
shall worship the LORD your God, and Him only you shall serve.’”
Matthew 5:12a “Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven,
Matthew 5:34 “But I say to you, do not swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is God’s
throne:
Matthew 5:39 “But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your
right cheek, turn the other to him also.
Matthew 6:2 “Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before
you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory
from men.
Matthew 6:19-21 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, 20but lay up for
yourselves treasures in heaven. 21For where your treasure is, there your heart will be
also.”
Matthew 7:13 “Enter by the narrow gate: for wide is the gate and broad is the way that
leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.”
Matthew 7:15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but
inwardly they are ravenous wolves.”
Matthew 10:8 “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely
you have received, freely give.”
Matthew 10:12, 13 “And when you go into a household, greet it. 13If the household is
worthy, let your peace come upon it. But if it is not worthy, let your peace return to
you.”
Matthew 10:16 “Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be
wise as serpents and harmless as doves.”
Matthew 10:26 “Therefore do not fear them. For there is nothing covered that will not
be revealed, and hidden that will not be known.”
Matthew 10:28 “And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But
rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.”
Matthew 16:23 But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me Satan! You are an
offence to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.”
Matthew 16:27 “For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His
angels, and then He will reward each according to his works.”
Matthew 17:9 Now as they came down from the mountain, Jesus commanded them,
saying, “Tell the vision to no one until the Son of Man is risen from the dead.”
The vision that Jesus speaks of in this verse is Matthew 17:1-3 Now after six days Jesus
took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves;
2and He was transfigured before them. His face shown like the sun, and His clothes
became as white as the light. 3And behold Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking
with Him. Jesus has risen, so tell about this vision.
Matthew 17:21”However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”

105
Jesus tells us how to cast demons out by prayer and fasting. Some things take a lot of
prayer and fasting which is an act of faith. When you need something real bad, you show
your faith, you speak your faith. And always know it is God’s power, not yours.
Matthew 19:30 “But many who are first will be last, and the last first.”
Matthew 20:16 “So the last will be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few
chosen.”
Matthew 24 is Jesus telling about the Great Tribulation and signs of the end of the world.
Matthew 24:4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives
you.”
Matthew 24:6 “See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but
the end is not yet.”
Matthew 24:20 “And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath.”
Matthew 24:23, 26 “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do
not believe it. 26”Therfore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or
‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it.”
Jesus is warning us about the anti-christ that will convince many that he is our Christ.
We will be called by Jesus and meet Him in the sky.
Matthew 24:34 “Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till
all these things take place.”
Matthew 24:36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven,
but My Father only.”
Matthew 24:44 “Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour
you do not expect.”
Matthew 25 is Jesus warning to continue to use the gifts He has given you, to tell others
about Him, and know He is coming again. Continue to believe and treat His people as
you would treat Him until the end.
Matthew 25:13 “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the
Son of Man is coming.
Matthew 25: 31-40 "When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels
with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. 32All the nations will be gathered
before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep
from the goats. 33And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.
34Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father,
inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; 35for I was
hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and
you took Me in; 36I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was
in prison and you came to Me.’ 37Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, Lord when
did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? 38When did we see
You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39Or when did we see You sick,
or in prison, and come to You? 40And the King will answer and say to them, Assuredly, I
say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to
Me.”
Jesus continues to tell what happens to the goats on His left. This is heaven and hell that
He will be sending us to on judgment day. There will be no more chances, just like the
angels:

106
Matthew 25:41 “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, “Depart from Me, you
cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels. Hell was prepared
for Satan and the fallen angels, not for us; but you can put yourself into hell by ignoring
Jesus’ people and His commands.
Matthew 25:45, 46 “Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you,
inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ 46”And
these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
Whatever you do or don’t do to Jesus’ people, you do to Him.

Mark 12:25 “For when they rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in
marriage, but are like angels in heaven.” Jesus is speaking about us in heaven.
Mark 12:35-37 Then Jesus Answered and said, while He taught in the temple, “How is it
that the scribes say that the Christ is the Son of David? 36For David himself said by the
Holy Spirit: ‘The LORD said to my Lord, Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies
Your footstool.’ 37Therefore David himself calls Him Lord; how is He then his Son?” And
the common people heard Him gladly.
Mark 13:5, 6 And Jesus, answering them, began to say; “Take heed that no one deceives
you. 6For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He,’ and will deceive many.”
Mark 13:31-33 “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass
away. 32But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the
Son, but only the Father. 33Take heed, watch and pray, for you do not know when the time
is.”
Mark 14:3,4 & 8,9 And being at Bethany at the house of Simon the leper, as He sat at the
table, a woman came having an alabaster flask of very costly oil of spikenard. Then she
broke the flask and poured it on His head. 4But there were some who were indignant
among themselves, and said, ‘Why was this fragrant oil wasted?’ …8”She has done what
she could. She has come beforehand to anoint My body for burial. 9Assuredly, I say to
you, wherever this gospel is preached in the whole world, what this woman has done will
also be told as a memorial to her.”
Mark 16:19 So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven,
and sat down at the right hand of God.

Luke is telling about Jesus speaking to Satan in verses 4:1-13

Luke 4:4 But Jesus answered him, saying, “It is written, Man shall not live by bread
alone, but by every word of God.”
Luke 4:8 And Jesus answered and said to him, “Get behind Me, Satan! For it is written,
‘You shall worship the LORD your God, and Him only you shall serve.’”
Luke 4:12 And Jesus answered and said to him, “It has been said, ‘You shall not tempt
the LORD your God.’”

107
Luke 7:13- 15 When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her, “Do
not weep.” 14Then He came and touched the open coffin, and those who carried him
stood still. And He said, “Young man, I say to you, arise.” 15So he who was dead sat up
and began to speak. And He presented him to his mother.
Luke 7:22, 23 Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things you have
seen and heard: that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear,
the dead are raised, the poor have the gospel preached to them. 23And blessed is he who
is not offended because of Me.”
Luke 9:22 saying, “The son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders
and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day.”
Luke 9:35 And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son, Hear
Him!”
Luke 11:49, 50 “Therefore the wisdom of God also said, ‘I will send them prophets and
apostles, and some of them they will kill and persecute,’ 50That the blood of all the
prophets which was shed from the foundation of the world may be required of this
generation,
Luke 12:3 “Therefore whatever you have spoken in the dark will be heard in the light,
and what you have spoken in the ear in inner rooms will be proclaimed on the
housetops.”
Luke 12:4, 5 “And I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body,
and after that have no more that they can do. 5But I will show you whom you should fear:
Fear Him who, after He has killed, has power to cast into hell; yes, I say to you, fear
Him!”
Luke 12: 8-10 “Also I say to you, whoever confesses Me before men, him the Son of Man
also will confess before the angels of God. 9But he who denies Me before men will be
denied before the angels of God. 10And anyone who speaks a word against the Son of
Man, it will be forgiven him; but to him who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit, it will
not be forgiven.”
Luke 12:20, 21 “But God said to him, Fool! This night your soul will be required of you;
then whose will those things be which you have provided? 21So is he who lays up treasure
for himself, and is not rich toward God.”
Luke 12:40 “Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you
do not expect.” Jesus is speaking of when He comes again. He came first as a lamb and
will come again as a lion. We are to be like lambs, not lions. The lion is Jesus coming
back as God not a man.
Luke 13:23, 24 Then one said to Him, “Lord, are there few who are saved?” And He
said to them, 24”Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek
to enter and will not be able.”
Luke 21:8, 9 And He said: “Take heed that you not be deceived. For many will come in
My name, saying, ‘I am He,’ and ‘The time has drawn near.’ Therefore do not go after
them. 9But when you hear of wars and commotions do not be terrified; for these things
must come to pass first, but the end will not come immediately.”
You will hear people saying that the wars and commotion mean the end is near. That is
not true. Only God knows when the end is and Jesus prayed to God that we be one and
that has never happened. Why wouldn’t God answer Jesus’ prayer first before the end?
John 17:9-26

108
Luke 21:28 “Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads,
because your redemption draws near.”
Luke 24:39 “Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me and see, for a
spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have.” Jesus came back for 40 days on
Easter evening. Jesus ate with them after He was crucified.
Luke 24:44, 45 Then He sad to them, “These are the words which I spoke to you while I
was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses
and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me.” And He opened their understanding,
that they might comprehend the Scripture.
Luke 24:51 Now it came to pass, while He blessed them, that He was parted from them
and carried up into heaven.

John 8:58 Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was,
I AM.”
John 10:14 & 17, 18 “I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by
My own.” 17”Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take
it again. 18No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it
down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My
Father.” They tried to kill Jesus more than once. Jesus gave up His life for us.
John 10:30 “I and My Father are one.”
John 12:31”Now is the judgment of this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast
out.”
John 12:44, 45 Then Jesus cried out and said, “He who believes in Me, believes not in
Me but in Him who sent Me. 45And he who sees Me sees Him who sent Me.”
John 20 is Jesus’ resurrection
John 20:17 Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My
Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your
Father, and to My God and your God.’”
This was Easter morning, by that evening Jesus came back. Jesus stayed for 40 days after
His crucifixion and hundreds witnessed Him. These are the commands after His
crucifixion.
John 21 describes Jesus going to eat with His disciples. Jesus furnished the food and the
command He gave was for them to bring the fish to Him.

Revelation 2:5 “Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the
first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place –
unless you repent. The first works: John 6:28, 29 Then they said to Him, “What shall we
do that we may work the works of God?” 29Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the
work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”

Revelation 3:11-13 “Behold I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one
may take your crown. 12He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My
God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name
of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My

109
God. And I will write on him My new name. 13He who has an ear, let him hear what the
Spirit says to the churches.”
Revelation 3:18-22“I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may
be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness
may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.
Jesus says buy from Him gold refined in the fire. This means gold is His people and
refined in the fire is when you have been filled with the Holy Spirit. That you may be
rich – God refers to His people as riches. White garments – you represent God as His
disciple. The shame of your nakedness – after you become a disciple the babe is always
in you, but don’t revert back to that. Anoint your eyes with eye salve means to see
scripture and understand it. You can pray for people to be anointed with eye salve from
Jesus to help them to be saved.
19As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. 20Behold I
stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in
to him and dine with him, and he with Me. 21To him who overcomes I will grant to sit
with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.
22He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”
Revelation 22:7 “Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the
prophecy of this book.”
Revelation 22:20, 21 He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.”
Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! 21The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.
Amen.
