Sizing:
measure around your underbust area
and divide it into 2.

This pattern is made to measure.

add 5 inches from the measurement.

chain multiples of 8 (+3 for chaining) until you reach the measured
length for S1.
Note that when measuring the foundation chain, make sure to
stretch it out as it may result in a bigger size when you're starting
the pattern.

When adjusting the size, you have to add 8 (+3 for chaining) as you are
working in units of 8.

Reminders
For reference, I fall into the category of size small.

my underbust size is 31 inches /2=15.5 inches

15.5"+5" = 20.5 inches

I chained 99, which is equivalent to 22" or 56cm

(when stretched)

*for someone like me who has a tight tension when

crocheting I used a bigger hook for my foundation
ch.

EX. I created 96 ch (+3 for chaining) which is equivalent to 99 FC.

DI LLY DALLY
by blessa 10
Alternating the Colors
Grab your CC1
On top of the PREV 3ch, instead of doing the full DC,
only do the 1st half of the MC and CONT with the
CC1 yarn.

pull through the remaining 2 loops.

YO insert your hook into the PREV 3ch, YO and

pull up a yarn and go over into the first 2 loop
only.

And CH 3

Chaining 3 in your S1 part could leave unwanted holes when you're already adding the

*in my case I used ch3 as a t-ch but it didn't have any big gaps between my S1 and my back strap.

You may visit Page 29 for another option for the holes.
