talking.
2. Review
What is integers? Integers is a set of whole number that can be positive,
negative or 0 it cannot be a fractional number.
Very Good! Who can give me an
example of positive integers? -10,12
3. Motivation
The teacher will sing a song.
-SAME SIGN ADD AND KEEP
DIFFERENT SIGN SUBTRACT,
KEEP THE SIGN OF THE
HIGHER NUMBER THEN IT WILL
BE EXACT.
-Yes ma’am.
-Can you sing the song?
The students sing the song.
-What do you think the song all -It’s all about the rules of additions.
about?
-Okay Very Good!
-Our topic for today is all about
addition of Integers.
-All together kindly read the At the end of the lesson, students should be able to:
objectives. a.Determine the rules involving operations of integer
specifically addition of integers.
b.Perform the rules in adding integers.
c.Show appreciation on how important the integers in real
life situation.

Provide correct
answer and Group 1 present their work in front of their classmates
explanation. followed by group 2, 3, and 4.
TOTAL -Yes maam.
-Mam in order to solve the problem we need to add the
Class did you enjoy your activity? numbers.
-Based on your activity,
what did you notice?
Very Good!
2. Analysis
Class I have here a number line.
Using this number line we are able
to find a certain answer on a given
equation.
How can we add 3 and 4? Ma’am zero we’ll just move 3 to the right and from that point
we’ll add another 4 units to the right.
Very good! How about -3 and -4? Ma’am zero we’ll just move 3 to the left side and from that
point we’ll add another 4 units to the left.
Class what did you notice in -Ma’am for numbers with same signs, we’ll just add the
adding the two equation? numbers and copy the sign.
-Very good!
(-7) + 15
-What are the signs in the Negative and positive.
problem?
-Subtract
-What will you do if they have
different sign?
-Very Good!
-If we subtract 7 from 15 what will 8
be the answer?
Positive.
-What is the sign of the bigger
number?
Positive 8.
-Very Good! 1
-If we subtract 6 from -7 what will
be the answer? -Negative
-What is the sign of the bigger
