4.Procedures
4.1 Jigsaw Puzzle
Introductory Pieces of big jigsaw puzzle (see attachment #1) will be presented to
Activity class. Volunteers will be called to assemble the pieces together to
(10 min.)
produce the complete picture. Students will be asked to tell what they
think will be the activity for today based on the picture.(Possible answer:
predicting)
4.2 Activity GROUP ACTIVITY
(20 min.) Students will be divided into 4 small groups. Each group will be given a
set of pictures (see attachment #2) to study.

4.4 Abstraction The pictures show diversity of cultural heritage of the different Asian

pictures, together with personal experiences and/or prior knowledge of
the viewers/readers, are useful for predicting the gist of the material
viewed.
4.5 Application INDIVIDUAL ACTIVITY (Oral recitation)
(15 min.) A picture of a local cultural heritage will be presented to the class.
Learners will be asked to answer the following questions:
1. What positive message does the picture tell you about your own
cultural heritage?
2. Does the picture make you feel proud about your local cultural
heritage? Why or why not?
3. If you are going to write an article about your local cultural
heritage, what important message will you share?
4.6 Assessment Short Quiz
(7 min.) Look at the picture. Choose the best prediction based on the picture.
(see attachment #3)
