2. Pintos
This Cebu street food is made of ground corn, milk, and butter wrapped in corn husks, then boiled for hours. There’s
a variety of versions of pintos. Some have peanuts, coconut, or cheese.
3. SuTuKil
Sutukil is one of the most popular and distinct Cebu dishes. It is a combination of the words “SUgba” (grill). “TUla”
(stew), and “KILawin” (to cook in vinegar). It’s not a one dish though. Sutukil Cebu’s concept is that you will have
to pick one type of fish and it will be cooked in three different ways.
4. Danggit
Danggit is a dried fish popular in the province. Taboan Public Market in Bantayan Island is famous to locals and
tourists alike because there you’ll find the cheapest dried seafood like danggit and dried squid—among the top 5
famous foods in Cebu.
5. Puso Rice
It is a type of rice cake most popular in catmon, Cebu made by boiling millet seeds with coconut milk and sugar,
then it is fully wrapped with a banana leaf. If you want an awesome Cebu dishes experience, pair your budbud kabog
with a cup of tablea or sweet mangoes on the side.
9. Masareal
This delicacy is made from finely-grounded peanuts and sugar syrup, wrapped in paper and tied with twine.
“Tastier than Lechon” as they claim it, Balamban Liempo is a chunk of pork stuffed with some secret
ingredients like green grass of some sort, making it so flavourful. It has a crispy outer layer which
makes it even tastier.
2, Rosquillos
3, Ampao
