1. What new insights did you learn today? (include the source of information)
After watching the video uploaded on Canvas, it did give me some new insights. Some of the new insights I have learned today is
the different vital signs that are important to us, humans. Vital signs are essentially an indicator of health. Good vital signs
indicate that we are in good health. I also learned how to take crucial vital signs such as blood pressure and temperature.
Another insight this has given me is that everyone should be acquainted with normal vital signs. It is very important and could
save a life while doing so, even save your own life. For example, knowing what blood pressure is normal can prevent a stroke
and other potentially fatal consequences.

2. How can you relate or apply each learnings listed above to your future profession?
While I do not plan on taking on the medical path, I think it could save someone in the office in my future profession should they
need immediate medical attention. For example, if someone fainted and fell flat on the floor, I could apply these learnings on
there while waiting for emergency services to arrive. I could check for their vital signs and try to make sure it goes back to
normal as soon as possible. I do not think that you need to be a doctor or a nurse to save someone’s life. Knowing this
information whether you are part of the medical field or not is something that should be taught everywhere or be common
knowledge.

3. What critical decision did you make today after your work immersion? (include your rationale/thinking behind each)
I do not think that it made me decide on anything else, but one critical decision this activity made me decide is to study and be
familiarized with normal vital signs. As I have said earlier, having this knowledge beforehand whether you are planning to take
the medical field or not is just important and could save someone’s life one day.
