PURCHASING
HABITS

BRACINO JOANA, LUMAGBAS MARIEL,SUAREZ SHANNYN

BRIEF RATIONALE

Consumer purchasing habits research is

significant because it allows marketers to
better understand what factors impact
consumers' purchasing decisions. They can
fill in the gap in the market and identify
the items that are needed and the products
that are outmoded by studying how
consumers decide on a product.
THE BENEFITS OF STUDYING CUSTOMERS
PURCHASING HABITS

It helps you to understand the procedure.

The Importance of Making Comparisons

Ensure that customers are satisfied

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE STUDY
The goal of this research is to look into customer
purchasing habits in Calamba City.
The purpose of this study is to assess consumers'
perceptions and attitudes regarding a new shopping system,
as well as how their behavior changes.
Understanding consumer behavior is important for a
company's present products, as well as the new product,
launches to succeed. Every customer has a unique thought
process and attitude when it comes to purchasing a
product.
Consumer buying behavior research looks into things like what
people buy, why they buy it, when they buy it, how often they
buy it, among other things.
Statement of the Study
Consumer behavior has a big impact on environmental
impact. As a result, environmentally conscious
consumers might alter their purchasing habits in
order to help the environment.
The previous study on purchasing behavior and its
relationship to price and quality, on the other
hand, has been limited.
The majority of the work has been done in what may
be described as typical society settings, with no
global crises such as a financial crisis or a
pandemic interfering. The underlying underpinning
of buying behavior that applies under normal
situations is altered by these crises.
Data Gathering Method

The analysis of qualitative data, such as text data from

interview transcripts, is known as qualitative analysis.
Unlike quantitative analysis, which is based on statistics
and is essentially independent of the researcher, the
qualitative analysis relies heavily on the researcher's
analytic and integrative abilities, as well as personal
knowledge of the social environment in which the data is
obtained.
Research Design

The researcher will take a phenomenological

approach and will adopt a descriptive qualitative
design. It's also a research approach in which the
researcher tries to obtain information by focusing
on and explaining a phenomenon in a deep, thorough
way, usually through interviews and open-ended
questions.
Respondents of the Study
The respondents were chosen by the author
among Calamba's buyers, who were
preferably 18 years old or older. The
author had to come up with ten residents
of Calamba City who bought things at
least twice a week as responses.
TARGET OUTPUT
Our goal is to research and investigate
changes in customer behavior in terms of
purchasing habits, as well as collect
data for real-life experiences in
Calamba City, Laguna.
Summary
'Consumer behavior is the study of individuals, groups,
or organizations and the procedures they use to choose,
obtain, and dispose of products, services, experiences,
or ideas to meet their requirements, as well as the
effects these processes have on the consumer and
society.' Understanding consumer behavior is critical for
a company's present products as well as new product
launches to succeed. Every customer has a unique thought
process and attitude when it comes to purchasing a
product. There are big chance of quality problems if a
company fails to understand a consumer's response to a
product.
