Reflection 1

Topics covered:

This reflection focuses on execution process of the project. The reflection

includes the type of work done in execution phase. Apart from it, the reflection also entails

requirements, tools and techniques and outcomes in the execution phase.

What did I learn?

I learned from lesson 1, I learned about the execution phase of the project. In

this, all the project work is done which was planned. This process also entails the corrections

actions to be made and preventive actions to prevent any defects and the repair of defects. This is

the process, which requires maximum amount of cost and time of the project. Work is done

according to the plan and monitored side by side if everything is going according to plan.

Furthermore,

. I also learned about the inputs, tools and techniques and the outcomes for the

execution process. Project management plan, approved change requests, organizational process

assets and culture of the management are the inputs for execution. Project management plan

include scope, schedule and cost baselines and some other management plans. Apprpved changes

includes the changes approved by the the board and those changes are performed in execution.

Expert judgement and project management information system are the major tools and
technicals. Project dileverables, performance information, change requests and some updates in

documents are outcomes of execution process.

Where would I use what I learned?

The skills I gained from will help me to manage work in execution phase.

Outcome:

It will be helpful for me to choose complete execution phase more efficiently .
