Magnetic Poetry

Create a poem using magnets!

Together with a partner, you will create a poem that will be displayed on the whiteboard.
You will need to find the right words to make your poem from the magnets provided.

The theme of your poem can be a colour, an emotion or a place that’s important to you.
Sensory language should be used (how things feel, taste, sound, look, etc.) in your poems to
describe your theme. This assignment is due Friday, March 31st.

Your poem will need to include:

 More than one stanza, but less than 5.
 A rhyme scheme of your choosing (could be ABAB, AABB, or something else).
 10 lines in the poem overall.
 A central theme.
 Sensory language.
