- Yes, it was winter.
- It was a rainy and cold day, so we decided to watch a film.
- Suddenly, the window started shaking harder and harder. It fell on the television,
causing an explosion. In a minute, everything was on fire.
- Luckily, the neighbours immediately called the firefighters, and they managed to
control the situation.
- Exactly. And this was the photograph that captured the moment when the window
crashed on the TV.

On the 31st of October, my family and I decided to watch a Hallowe'en film.

We were terrified, but we couldn't stop the movie.
Suddenly, the lights started to shake, and the television went off.
We were petrified, wondering what was going on.
We looked out the window, and this scary one-eyed creature was staring at us. It looked like a
zombie!
We didn't have time to think. We just ran and hid.
After a while, we realised it was just our friend, Tom, playing trick or treat!
That's the picture he took when he appeared at the window of our home.

On the 8th of September 2022, the Silva family was in the living room watching the news as
they usually do.
The youngest member of the family was playing around and taking pictures.
Suddenly, they heard tragic news. Queen Elizabeth II had died.
They were in shock!
It was unexpected as everyone almost believed that her Majesty was immortal.
Apart from that, she was a great woman and an excellent Queen.
This photo is what remains from that moment.

Every Sunday, my parents, uncle, aunt, cousins and I like to gather on the sofa and have a good
time together.
In this picture, it was the 10th of May.
My family and I were watching a movie, which turned out to be scary, as a creepy clown
started killing people.
My youngest cousin is afraid of clowns. So, we had to change the channel and watch an action
movie instead.
The picture shows the moment we realised that there were clowns in the film.
After that, everything went well, and we enjoyed ourselves.

Here we can see Adam's family.

They took this photograph on the 1st of December 2021 because it's a family tradition.
As usual, they watch a film. And it always takes them an hour to choose it.
This day wasn't an exception, and after arguing for a while, they decided to watch Titanic.
They enjoyed the film, but in the end, they felt deceived because the main characters didn't
stay together, and the ship sank.

The Esteves family decided to spend their winter holidays in Serra da Estrela.
They love snow and winter sports.
That morning they went skiing.
At the top of the mountain, a photographer took pictures of tourists for a souvenir of the day.
After skiing, they went back to the hotel. They had a hot drink and warmed up.
It was a memorable day, as you can see in the photo he took after skiing!

It was a cold autumn day. Every Saturday, the Smith family watched films.
However, this time was a bit different, as Sophie, the oldest daughter, got the chance to
choose the movie.
She was an intelligent, adventurous and brave girl. And on top of that, she loved watching
horror films.
She was curious about one she had heard of at school.
Although the family wasn't fond of this type of film, they agreed on her choice.
While they were preparing to take a picture to post on Instagram, people started dying in the
film.
So, that's their facial expression from this terrifying experience.

On the 20th of December, the James family went to Asia to spend their Christmas holidays.
They had planned to go skiing on Everest Mountain the following day.
So, they woke up very early and went there. They were having a lot of fun on their way up.
Suddenly, Sheila, the youngest daughter, slipped and rolled down the hill. Josephina, the
oldest one, laughed incessantly.
When Sheila stopped, her parents and sister managed to get next to her. They saw she was ok.
A French gentleman was passing by, so they asked him to take a picture of them.
Now, each time they look at the photograph, they remember Sheila's hilarious fall.
