Individual Trophies will be awarded to Champion and Runner-Up in the following categories with age
based as of 9/1/22: (ties will be broken by the longest reverse run of hit targets)
• Up to age 14 (Sub-Junior)
• 15-17 years (Junior)

Team Trophies for Champion, Runner-Up, and Third as well as one "Random team" will be awarded to any
team comprised of five individual youth shooters in the event. There is no maximum number of team members.
The top five scores from a team will be used to determine the overall team score. Shooters must designate team
before shooting and team members should squad/shoot together as possible. "Random team" will be drawn from
one of the remaining teams with five or more shooters. Trophies will be awarded at the conclusion of the event
on Saturday. (Ties will be broken by the team member with the highest round score from each team. Subsequent score comparisons
will be used if the top score is tied.)

ANY YOUTH SHOOTER is eligible to compete. You do NOT have to be a member of AIM or SCTP to be
eligible for these special trophies. You are not required to attend the same school or college nor be a member of
same gun club. Get a full squad or more of friends together to compete and have fun at the Kansas State Shoot.
However, a shooter can only be a member of one team and the team must be declared before the shoot begins.

To compete you must be a current ATA member (and KTA member if a KS Resident). Registration must be
received by 5/31/23. This is concurrent with the 200 Kansas State Singles Championship and shooters will be
eligible for trophies in the event as well.

The first 100 youth shooters who have NEVER been a member of the ATA/KTA, will receive complimentary
membership to the ATA/KTA for the 2023 season. They will only pay for the 200 targets at $56.00 plus ATA
daily fee of $3.00 and KTA target fees at $4.00 for a total of $63.00 AND they will get 8 FREE boxes of shells.
You're NOT required to shoot the free ammo at the event.

If you do not qualify for the complimentary membership...

Sub-Juniors & Juniors: You will pay ATA membership $12.00 and KTA membership $11.00, which is ½
price. 200 targets will be $56.00 plus ATA daily fee of $3.00 and KTA target fee of $4.00 for a total of $63.00
AND you will get 8 FREE boxes of shells. You are NOT required to shoot this free ammo at the event.

Junior Gold: You will pay ATA membership $12.00 and KTA membership $22.00. 200 targets will be $85.00
plus ATA daily fee of $3.00 and KTA target fees at $4.00 for a total of $92.00.

You will shoot on 5 Banks at our adjoining club (Ark Valley) just east of the KTA grounds. All spectators are
welcomed to attend the event. Team setups, including tents and chairs are allowed BEHIND the field sidewalk.
Shooting starts at 9:00 a.m. Friday and 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. You will shoot 100 targets on a field. Be ready to
shoot when your squad is scheduled. Due to the overwhelming growth of our sport with youth, we expect a large
number of participants. Based on this some teams will shoot on Friday and others will shoot on Saturday.
