series of earthquakes in Cotabato and Davao
del Sur in 2019.
• The causative fault is the Makilala-Malungon
Fault.
• Maximum felt intensity was PEIS VII
(Destructive)
• Damaged to structures were documented in
areas that experienced PEIS VI (Very Strong)
and PEIS VII (Destructive).
• Geologic impacts documented were
liquefaction and earthquake-induced
landslides.
