SUMMARY OF PERFORMANCE REPORT

During our On-The-Job Traning, as an housekeeper although I am not very keen on working in housekeeping
department, but still I will always do my best to clean the rooms and allow the guests to stay happily and
comfortable. The skills that I gained from Housekeeping class during my third year, it helps me to excel in the
working environment. Even though each of us have to clean the rooms ourselves, but still whenever we finish
it, we will always try to help the others to finish their jobs as well. Working in Housekeeping Department is a
repeatable job where you repeat the same routine every day.

Overall in this internship, I have seen myself significantly improve on my team work because in hospitality
field, this internship taught me a lot on what should I need to do to become a better hotelier in the future. I
gained a lot of knowledge in it and I will always remember it by heart no matter where I am.

 DUTIES/FUNCTIONS OF THE ON-THE-JOB-TRAINEE
Housekeeper - Perform various cleaning tasks such as sweep, mop, dusting, polishing, etc.
Make sure all spaces are maintained and inspected in compliance with standards
Protect your equipment and make sure it is free of defects.

Dishwasher - ensures that the kitchen stays clean and organized. They set up dish stations and turn on dish
cleaning machines. They spend their time loading and unloading dishes from dish
machines, washing all pans or utensils that come into contact with food, and scraping identifiers off everything.

Cleaner - Responsible for basic cleaning in and around a home or office building. Clean the floor and room.
Includes dusting, damp mops, vacuum cleaners, vacuum cleaners, dusting, picking up large objects from the
floor, and spot cleaning glass and windows. Clean the toilet, including refilling dispensers, dumping debris,
cleaning and disinfecting equipment, cleaning mirrors, cleaning partition doors and walls, cleaning and wiping
tile floors, cleaning toilets and urinals. Vacuum, empty the trash and replace the bag. Installation, storage, and
maintenance of cleaning equipment and accessories. Supervise and maintain hygiene and organization in the
allocated area. Take dirty laundry to the right place and fill it with clean laundry. We support other area as
needed to provide optimal service to our guests. Perform additional tasks as needed.

Assisting Guests- Review arrival lists to welcome guests

-Attend to special guests and answer their inquiries
-Help prepare welcome folders with logbook and pens , hand sanitizer and temperature tool.
-Provide information about amenities, area and venues and promote services
-Anticipate guest needs and build rapport with customers
-Address customer complaints and escalate to Guest Relations Manager when needed
-Record information in the logbook daily
-Ensure compliance with health and quality standards.

Laundry- Sorting, washing, drying, pressing and folding clothing and other textile items The appropriate
procedures are used to remove stains from items.
