SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

The goal of this study was to determine how mobile phone usage affected students at Polangui
Community College's intellectual capacity in relation to their academic performances in the classroom
and in terms of academic achievement. The purpose of this study is to inform and assist the
administration of Polangui Community College School as well as students, specifically those at Polangui
Community College.

This study will benefit the school administration of Polanguu Community College because it will
provide them information’s of how Mobile Phone Usage: Its effect on the classroom participation and
Academic Achievement of Students, thus will make regulations upon this topic.

Students will be informed of the effects of mobile phone usage on their academic achievement and on
how it affects their ability to participate in class. The findings of this survey will make them more aware
of the effects.

Teacher will also be assisted in understanding the effects of mobile phone usage on classroom
participation and will find ways to supervise students for their benefit.

Future Researcher will be able to use the findings of this study for related future research.
