Performance Task No. 3

Cha-Cha-Cha Dance

 What is/are the styles of dance used


The dance style that they used is a ballroom dance owing to the fact that they
were performing cha-cha-cha dance. They had good performance in cha-cha-cha
dance.
 Identify choreographic forms
It can clearly see that they had Rondo and ABA choreographic forms. Rondo, a
rondo alternates a primary movement pattern (A) with any number of additional
movement patterns (B, C, D). With four total patterns, the sequence is ABACAD.
The ABA form might be compared to a sandwich. The sequence includes an
initial movement phrase, (A), a second movement phrase (B), and a repeat of the
first phrase (A)
 Identify and list down the dance movements used in the
performance
In their performance, the four basic dance movements were
used such as Forward Step, Backward Step, Side Step,
Rock Step and Some hand movements that can beautify the
cha-cha dance.

 Describe the emotions brought about by the dance. Describe


how you feel while watching the whole dance performance
Enjoyment and happiness are what I felt while watching the whole dance
performance in cha-cha-cha dance. They clearly emphasized the body
movements as well as their choreography. In times of crisis, cha-cha-cha dance
will help us reduce the stress and effects of it.
