Research title

Research aims and research questions

Literature review

You should have some general introduction, say how many groups
of studies there are. You can divide the studies you have according
to contexts or learners (ESL/EFL learners), methods used, or
themes.

For each group, you should have a subheading.

After you have reviewed the studies you have, evaluate them,
indicating gaps! And how you will fill the gaps! You can comment on
each study you have reviewed as well.

*** For each study, please address the following in your review:

Context: Where the research was conducted

Participants: Who participated in the research (not authors),

how many of them? Their age, proficiency, etc.

Methods: How was the research conducted: which methods

were used?

(Interviews/Questionnaires were used to collect data/Data

were collected by means of questionnaires and interviews
with 150 Chinese EFL students,…)

Findings: What did they find?

The study found that/The findings show that Chinese

EFL students had difficulty using plural nouns, etc.)

Please check the coherence of your writing, make sure you link different parts, or
different studies.

Make sure you use correct in-text citation.

Make sure you include all the studies you have cited in the references. References
should be placed at the end of the file.
