If you have an even number, divide by 2. Go to the number in that
position and average it with the number in the next higher position to get
the median.

We are 95% confident that the sample mean of the tree dbh lies between
20.67cm and 27.65 cm.

Guide Questions

1. What did you learn from your personal experience in the

computation and interpretation of data using descriptive statistical
tools?
I learned that ungrouped and grouped data are different in terms of
using descriptive statistical tools and also one little mistake will
affect the different results of the statistical tools.

2. What conclusions can be drawn from the dbh measurements of 50

trees in a second growth forest in Musuan, Bukidnon based on the
findings of your computation and analysis?
The average DBH of the trees in second growth forest of Musuan is
24.16 cm and the rest was higher and lower than that.
