MOTIVATIONAL STATEMENT.

I hereby would like to state my motivation to attend ensemble browser workshop in university of
Ibadan on 12th October, 2018.
This workshop is especially relevant to my professional expertise and therefore, would highly
appreciate to be given an opportunity to attend this event gathering Professionals and Research
scientists from all over the world.
I am biomedical research scientist/medical microbiologist with focus in clinical Virology. I am
specifically researching into microbial genomics and proteomics in order to gain knowledge
about fighting and preventing diseases they cause.
As an added value of the event, I will find the opportunity to network with other scientists from
all over the world which is a horizontal exchange of experience. This workshop will also serve as
a welcome source of motivation for me as a young researcher. I also perceived that this event will
also serve as an occasion to familiarize with good clinical, Laboratory and research practices as a
channel for my personal development.
