June 2021 to December 2022, Senior Surveyor, Witts Engineering Consultants; Kenya

Roles and Responsibilities

• Managing the survey department tasked with the collection of spatial data by carrying out topographic surveys for
road design and mapping of utilities and conflicting infrastructure.

 • Preparation of land acquisition drawings using ARCGIS and QGIS. I was also directly involved in community
sensitization and verification of the project affected persons (PAPS)

March 2021 to June 2021, Geospatial Engineer, Norken International ltd; Ethiopia

Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible for collection of detailed spatial information for selection of the most suitable route for the road from
Nekemte to Bure. The parameters for selection included the terrain, settlements and the design vehicle speeds.
• Preparation of maps, reports and engineering drawings.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Coordination of setting out activities. This involved analyzing spatial drawings from Architects and Engineers and
subsequently implementing the coordinates on the ground by use of Survey Equipment(GPS and Total Stations).

the surrounding environment.

• Tasked with the preparation of maps for research of health facilities for Ministry of health for The County data
verification consultancy assignment under transforming health systems for universal care project [THS-UC]: RFP
