MINUTES OF THE EXECUTIVE MEETING HELD ON 19TH OF MARCH, 2023 AT CHRIST

The meeting started at 2:10pm with prayers led by Sister Precious Olufemi and the secretary,
Sister Precious Olufemi read the last minutes.

Reaction to the minutes: Sister Kim adopted the minutes and Sister Victoria seconded the
adoption

YOUTH LEADERS' RETREAT.

The President said the Youth Leaders' Retreat has been postponed because of funds but that it
will be at the end of April or May.

He also added that before the year planner of 2024 is released, some programmes will be
adjusted. The proposed date is Saturday, April 29th, 2023.

PRE-UTME PRAYERS.
The proposed date for Pre-utme prayers is April 23rd, 2023. Mummy G.O will be the one
handling the programme and Miniter Alabi, the theme is 'Good Success'. The programme will be
for one and half hours; the flier should be changed to that effect.

CONVENTION
He said everyone should be available and that the choir will be handling the praise and worship.
Sister Joy will handle the logistics, Bro Badejo will handle protocol while Bro Iji will handle the
choir. Bro Iji asked for the definition of roles about the choir and the president replied that the
Youth choir will be the praise team for the ministry and they are to lead Praises, Worship,
Offering and Thanksgiving.

PRAYER CONGRESS
Sister Victoria gave a report on behalf of the committee.

Expectations for the Prayer Congress

Ministers; (In-house ministers should be invited- Pastor Esan, Pastor Adewale, Pastor
Gbadegesin. The youth leaders will handle the prayers, not the youth pastors. Some youth
leaders will lead sermons also. The prayer secretary of the ministry, Daddy Gureje will open the
prayers.

VILLAGE OUTREACH
Village Outreach will require church planting and partnering with a church. The suggestion is
that an evangelism team be drawn to help Christ Way Youth Churches that are in remote areas.

YOUTH RETREAT
Bro Kingsley spoke about the fee that was compromised and the age range for the last retreat.
The President said the decision was from C.E.C. Bro Tope said there should be plans for
teenagers in the ministry. The President said there could be a simultaneous retreat for
teenagers and youths.

Suggested Venue; Habitation of Faith, Mount Zion, Mokuro.

Mrs Deborah Fayemi was made the chairperson for the first teenagers' Retreat.
Sister Janet was made the vice-president.
The Teenagers' Retreat will be in the first week of August.
Youth Retreat will be in the third week of August.
The President said the decision will be discussed at the C.E.C meeting.

The President said we should contribute to the financial affairs of the ministry. The meeting was
adjourned by Bro Kingsley Ailemen to April 16th, 2023 and it was seconded by Bro Iji.

The meeting ended around 4pm.
