COMELEC VERY URGENT ADVISORY

The Supreme Court has already resolved the Case Olivia G. Coo a.k.a.
"BONG COO" vs. COMELEC & RAMON B. BAUTISTA "BONG REVILLA", JR.
a.k.a. "KAP" (G.R. No. 163187) last May 6, 2004, stating, insofar, pertinent
the following:

1. The COMELEC did not abuse its discretion in allowing


Senatorial Candidate Ramon B. Revilla, Jr. to register "BONG"
as his nickname considering that he "has consistently used
said nickname during the 1995, 1998 and 2001 elections
when he ran for the positions of vice-governor and governor,
respectively, in the province of Cavite"; and
2. The nickname "BONG COO" is not the same as "BONG"

Accordingly, the votes of "BONG" shall be a vote for Senatorial


Candidate Ramon "Bong" Revilla, Jr. DCIAST
