So far, my strategy was to prioritize school work over my extra-curricular activities and

hobbies. As a result, I have become more productive and still have time to do what I like in my
free time. My grades have improved, and I have had a perfect homework record. However, I
failed my physics which led to a parent teacher conference. From the conference, I was able to
improve my organization skills, as well as my studying techniques for tests.

I have been sticking to my study schedule, because I have felt very motivated throughout the
semester to improve on my inconsistent grades from last year. I do not want to stick to my
schedule, because it limits my versatility in terms of workload, as it can vary depending on the
subject on different days, and it is very difficult to always be able to set/allocate the perfect
amount of time to work on a certain subject.

This semester, I excelled especially in History and English, as I am a rather confident timed
essay writer. However, the most surprising improvement was on my Japanese. I went from
getting 5/8 on average to almost full marks on every assignment, which makes me very happy.
Subjects I can improve on are my sciences, especially Physics and Biology.
